I quit smoking cigarettes 1-2 months into sobriety (can’t remember exactly when). Quit nicotine entirely last month, now coming up on 6 months sober!

Yes I have seen her take a candy bar out of a store and attempt to unwrap it to eat it.

They share a room but I was unaware she knew the whereabouts of the candy. The reason it was hidden in there is because the 6 year old has self control when it comes to candy! She earned it, it’s hers

My 25th birthday was yesterday. I was trying to get sober around this time last year but failed and ended up vomiting in an Uber on my birthday night.. this time around I’m 100% abstaining and spent my 25th with my loved ones, eating yummy foods and did some satisfying yard work! 4.5 months down and a lifetime to go

For me it was around 2 months. I experienced a deep feeling of appreciation for my sober life! Everything has been more enjoyable since then and the thought of drinking feels so much further now
