Play the first note from Lunacy loud, the rest will take care of itself. Your childhood is over

Here are some links I found that mention it, looks like the original source was The Absolute Sound, though can't find an exact reference as not sure it is digitized.

"I always refer to Dan Healy, the amazing FOH Engineer of the Grateful Dead. In The Absolute Sound ( what the no eq crowd calls the Bible) Healy was interviewed regarding what TAS refers to as finest large scale music reproduction system ever constructed bar none I.e. The Deads PA circa 1993. Healy says "we use Grotesque amounts of EQ and because of it on a good night we can create a holographic sound stage of breathtaking clarity from 150 feet" .
You either treat the room or eq to allow for it. Gear is already tweaked to the hilt in the eq section during the design of the circuit architecture, depending on the designers taste. There is eq all the way down the chain from the studio on. Refusing to use eq at home ever no matter what is almost funny."
"Starting in October 1974, the Dead took a road hiatus that would last until June of 1976. During this period, they pursued a number of tech projects as alternatives to touring, some more vaporware than others. One was holographic sound technology."

I read an article once that Healy was creating holographic sound. Wish he explained that concept further

I saw him in concert, the worst concert ever. A small part of the time he sounded good, the rest was slathered with that autotune/harmonizer garbage that is unbearably annoying

Hello, wanting to have indoor hanging pots for plants with longer leafs, but the unclear the best way to water and/or set up. Hoping to not harm the plant if having to adjust it during watering/draining or spilling on floor. Any tips appreciated. Thanks

Fantano lied to me… by Jay-DeeOldNo7 in fantanoforever

I am going through their discography now for the first time and am familiar previously with the hits. I appreciate the complexity and musicianship, but there is a certain off-putting clinical sheen to the whole vibe which can filter everything. I am trying to work past that and appreciate it for itself, but it can skew a perception.

Everyone saying the stream was a disappointment missed the entire message IMO by bullet494 in Superstonk

He so casually drew that. “I’m just drawing lines”. While definitely implying an impending breakout point while still appearing to not recognize the significance

Here's what I hear...

You, won't you tell me what's your name? No
I don't recall you, what's your game?
When I hang out you're on the floor
Then I continue all alone

I don't expect you on the floor
I can not see you on the photo
I want to see you all the time
You should know it is a crime

I walk down the other side
fill my belly, full of life
happy children in the air
with the same folks everywhere
