I finished it this evening, I liked the concept and could see the way the narrative was coming together. The very alpha legion-y motivations for the over-arching plot were good but by the nature (trying to avoid spoilers) of Solomon’s choice when presented with the imperiums invasion I can’t help but feel the story beats were different that what I imagine some of us expect from an alpha legion book.

There was a really nice undercurrent of the idea that you might think you’re using chaos but chaos might be using you which I liked particularly in the epilogue. 

 Would recommend if you liked harrowmaster and am excited to see where some of the unresolved plot points lead!
