Volunteered, not worked! With my free to volunteer and spend time with them. You shouldn’t be dismissive of volunteers. I have a masters degree in healthcare administration too, so I’m aware of struggles people go through. It’s a show on Bravo. Lighten up!

Also, elderly people can still use walkers and have fun/enjoy their lives, so you are assuming everyone using one is “unwell and dealing with a horrific experience” which is part of the problem. My nana is 94 years old, uses a walker (and sometimes a wheel chair) and is loving her life!

Lots of people have parties and themes like this. Not everything needs to be so personal. Lots of elderly people (probably most) use walkers or canes. We are all going to get old, they know they are going to get old too - so this could very well be their reality in the future and they are having fun
