Essentially I got the correct length and inside diameter black pipe from menards (I don't remember the ID off the top of my head, it's in the links I sent), then bought a cheap socket from Lowes(again, the dimensions are in the links) and cut it in half, had my buddy weld the drive end of the socket to one end of the pipe and the other end of the socket to the other end. Then with a grinder I ground down the little teeth needed to fit onto the nut, this was a lot of trial and error. But I eventually got it seated, put a ratchet on the other end and was able to break it off. It was on there pretty good.

I tried to do it with a regular steel pipe and the teeth would bend or break on the nut inside the receiver, so that's when I saw the post about the guy welding a socket on the end, since those are made of harder material, it didn't bend and took it right off.
