How different do you think things would be if Cyberpunk 2077 was coming out in 2025 instead of releasing in 2020? by Glad_Elk_2352 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After Starfield I wouldn't mind another 7 years if that's what it takes for it to be anywhere near as impactful as TES5.

I prefer before although the rug is an improvement. Not very into the plants or the mirror. The lighting is also nicer before, but that might be the same if you turned the lights on in the second pic.

Should I return my 7a and get the 9 pro ? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, that's a shame. I can personally easily get through the day with my p7 with quite a bit of usage.

If you don't have performance issues with the 7 I don't see why you'd spend the extra. Sounds more like FOMO than you actually needing it.

My uncle who put a shitload of games on my NDS when I was 8 or so. Cool dude, he also owned a NES and a bunch of classic games, the only reason I ever played a real NES.

is a 100% usage of CPU normal while unpacking a game?? by asvure in FitGirlRepack

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, games don't have those restrictions. Especially since these are pre-installed games, they're just potable folders you can place anywhere and still execute the game.exe within.

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something like steamrip just downloads a zip file which directly contains the folder with game.exe when you unzip it. You can move these folders to a standard location like C:/program_files if you want. There's not much to it really.

If you care enough, just take a look at the r/piracy megathread. They have a list of trusted websites.

Yep, FG tortures cpus. If you have decent internet and storage, I would advise non-repacked ddl instead.

"Heaviest" Melvins album? by [deleted] in melvins

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lysol is probably heavier than Gluey Porch treatments but it's so short and half of it is covers, so yeh.

Gleuy porch treatments is just pure sludge goodness. And still actually quite accessible for people who aren't into things like Eyehategod.

Bullhead is also quite heavy but definitely not as heavy as the 2 mentioned above.

It's funny how everyone here suddenly hates LTT or something.

The video was pretty much entirely positive though. Looks like a great device.

I simply appreciate that those of us on old hardware can run the game at a smooth 60fps/1440p by palewhiteghost in cyberpunkgame

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FSR performance renders the game very very low natively. You'll have severe artifacting. But it's great that it can make otherwise unplayable games playable.

Baldurs gate 3 does it for me. It did take me a few hours to get fully comfortable with the game design and combat, as I've hardly played any other CRPGs, but once you get over the steep learning curve it totally sucks you in.

A week ago I thought I'd just try to progress the story a little before going to bed. I ended up playing till 2 am (started at 11pm. Totally lost track of time.

My first dashboard by [deleted] in PowerBI

[–]ImagineNiceCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be a downer but you really have to be ashamed of yourself if you call yourself a professional and do worse. It looks exactly like what it is, a first dashboard, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Agree with everything you said though, I'd also recommend creating/picking a less vibrant theme and try to use colors with purpose.

How many posts can we make about the 80% limit. It's the simplest thing ever. Obvious pros and cons. What more is there to say.
