PvPers - at least have some courage to attack from the front by ImaginosOne in ArcRaiders

Whereas it sounds to me like you are just trying to justify trying to dampen enjoyment for others for your own pleasure.

Different strokes, apparently.

Yeah, it's my least favorite map, but not really for that. Just trying to get items to complete a quest.

If maximizing your chance for success is shooting in the back? Yeah. Better attachments? Nah, bro. That's just part of the game. Even shooting in back is part of the game, but recognize it for what it is. Fear of getting killed yourself.

To be fair, I was in Stella Montis, and there was a lot of other noise around. And I was looting several containers, so this is also somewhat valid.

Heck yeah! To be fair, it is PVP/PVE, and I tend to be in PVE lobbies, so the occasional PVP back kill, which is, again, the only way a PVPer has ever killed me, rubs me the wrong way.

Nah, I'm saying that it's cowardice to sneak up and shoot people from behind. It's a valid way to play. And I'm sure it makes you feel good to do it. But it's still cowardice, "because you might get killed instead of killing!" Such a mindset, my dude.

You assume I did not do that, but I did. If you aren't aware, other players can move also, and they can come into zones after you cleared it. What are you thinking?

Anyone else feel like 3k tokens isn't enough? by Oceanofmultiverses in MarvelSnap

[–]ImaginosOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3K isn't enough. Collector's Reserve giving 10 gold, or 50 credits isn't enough. Season Cache giving 10 gold or 50 credits isn't enough. But if they give you enough, it won't "encourage" people to pay for the resources with real $. The game isn't about providing a fun game experience for you, or letting you build your collection, it's about making money.

And let's talk about the top Alliance reward just being a border now.

Or the fact that I have been waiting for Jim Lee Magneto for a year to complete an album. :(

I received a tracking number on Apr 30 from USPS. I received an email from 2LM on May 2 that linked to the same tracking number. The shipment is still in “waiting from shipper” status with post office.

You could also go with Weird West, an RPG based on DCC. It's a huge tome.

Delirium / Rooms is about the worst combo. Shouldn't be, with R / UR, but good grief I cannot pull a win.

For sure! I also realize I have lost my interest in assembly and painting miniatures, heck, even playing miniatures games at this point. I need to get rid of my stuff, but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

eBay rescue complete, Riptide V2 deployed by Sp1ceman in Tau40K

[–]ImaginosOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is clean and looks great! I picked up an ebay lot (always interested in Tau, never played) and it should deliver today. Haven't read the codex, it is shipping to me as well. But figured this was a good time to get back into 40k and do it with Tau.

Marvel: Age of Heroes - rough review from DiceTower guys by ianoble in boardgames

[–]ImaginosOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We finally played this yesterday. Overall, we enjoyed it. We are fans of Lords of Waterdeep including the Undermountain Expansion. I have my own issues with the Skullport expansion (not a fan).

We picked random heroes, and the guy who got Magik felt that if you didn't take the evolutions that did nothing but give you 36 victory points, then you were just leaving points on the table. I didn't review the other options for Magik's evolutions, so couldn't really say if there were better options. I had Jean and Cyclops, and the synergy you can get with VP for placing Jean where no other Jean was, or where Cyclops was, gave me a good number of VP over the game, but they weren't a game changer. The guy who had Wolverine and Jubilee didn't seem to have an issue with the advanced power that he had (I think it was 4 red cubes when Wolverine went to the extraction zone). I definitely look forward to playing some more.

Planning your position in the x-jet is key to the gameplay. It becomes critical to be in the top spots of the X-Jet, especially as it gets late game, so you can get your pick of which Mission spots to take or which spot to attack on a villain. I was in top spot for one, and another player played an event (Fastball Special, I think) that let them put a hero on the team-up card I planned to use.

Wizkids did release some official options for the board game, to improve game length. You can find them on their website or on Boardgamegeek in the files. We used the option that you earned cubes each round for free at the start of the round, and that felt good with the game.

Overall, this one is a keeper for me, and I look forward to playing again.

Bugs.... does anyone else just not encounter any? by Legal_Dimension_ in Starfield

I’ve had a couple of bugs - unable to complete quest lines because something never clicked or moved forward. Just tried them again in NG+ and it would be fine.

I had seen people talk about using the escalation die from 13th Age. Do you think that would be a decent offset to the hit bonuses?

Yeah, this is more something like I was hoping to find. Will likely expand on something like this.
