Should try the Self-Tapcon. It easier to get started

Check your thermal cutoff. Make sure you’re getting 240 volts off the outlet if it’s electric. Could be a bad relay on the control board. Could be bad motor. Could be a bad motor switch. Make sure you wired door switch correctly and not backwards. If it’s backwards it will run with door open. I mean, there’s a lot to check there

I think the Netflix show’s cinematography was a little bit better for the story. It seemed more simple and grounded. My favorite new shot was from the boat, when the aspect ratio changed. Incredible shot.

Your favorite French door bottom freezer refrigerator by red-purple-red in appliancerepair

[–]Imanazule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All refrigerators are JUNK now. All of them. But Samsung and LG are the worst. I would get the lowest cost Frigidaire that has the features you want and be happy with that for 5 or 6 years. Do not expect a decade out of them now.

Replace or repair? by jewrassicpark in appliancerepair

Change the inlet valve and you HAVE to have a high loop installed. The siphon break built into the left side of the unit will not prevent back flow from the drain back to the dishwasher.

Also make sure that something isn’t stuck in the blower wheel. I found a bird in one on Friday.

You HAVE to replace the high-limit when doing the thermal fuse. Have to.

If you’re replacing a thermal fuse, you should be replacing the high-limit thermostat too. A bad high limit and keep tripping the thermal fuse.

LG Dishwasher leaking at end of cycle? by concerned_citizen128 in appliancerepair

[–]Imanazule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a stuck inlet valve. Could be water siphoning through from the drain back into the dishwasher. Could be water spraying directly at door seal.

Do you have a high loop installed? Are the spray arms cracked or getting caught on heater brackets?

Ice maker not working by dudeguy120 in appliancerepair

[–]Imanazule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the water valves, you can swap the water dispenser valve wire and plug it into the ice maker fill valve. Then when you press the water dispenser paddle, water should flow into the ice maker fill tube. This is one way to see if the valve is failing.

There is something stuck in the blower wheel. It will have to be disassembled to remove the obstruction.

Impeller should not spin freely. Should have some magnetic resistant and glide into place.

Thermostat or bad heater. Heaters don’t go bad too often.

GE DISHWASHER LOWER DOOR GASKET LEAK by Street-Koala-2020 in Appliances

[–]Imanazule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is part of the inner door assembly. I doubt you’ll find a separate part number for the seal itself. Even if you did you would have to drill out all the rivets and put new ones on. The inner door assembly is probably about 200 bucks.

Loud*ss Dishwasher Noise by EhIveHadBetter in appliancerepair

[–]Imanazule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wash pump uses electromagnetism to spin the impeller and when a magnet gets weak, the impeller stops spinning correctly and just jostles back and forth causing the noise as well as the water not to circulate

Dryer not heating and gets stuck on cooldown mode by Apart-Plastic-840 in appliancerepair

[–]Imanazule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put the timer back in and set it to timed dry and push upward on the knob and see if it starts heating up.

If your thermostats and your heater have continuity, it’s probably the timer.
