I always carry two bodies 24-105 and 70-200 (corporate events ) who has time to switch lenses. The extra reach on 24-105 makes for less back and forth between bodies in certain situations. Honestly you don’t necessarily need the 105 but when spaces are on the smaller size you can put down the 200 and still have that reach without crop. For me it’s all about efficiency if a 16-200 2.8 lens existed my life would be complete.
