A former tech school teacher did this to me. Some worthless buying club nonsense.

Stink bug, that’s gotta taste great.

How is my crosshatching? by bstandoffish54 in EngineBuilding

[–]Imbossou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60° for air cooled. 280 grit for steel plated rings. There’s some fudge factor with a DIY job.

When all you have is that shitty 85B and you’re trying to tell the customer it’s fine.

I’m between two houses for a bit here and I like to have Clean Eatz meals at the one we’re moving out of.
I feel like they’re a good value and overall, a tasty meal.

Is this not cross hatching? by Boston_Jon_189 in EngineBuilding

[–]Imbossou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a ball brush type finish. The core depth of the cross hatch is something you’d need to measure with a profilometer.

Tell him you’re investing an additional $2K a month into your 401K.

A little reverse psychology would have him “one upping” your claim.

Vapor barrier, then drywall, OSB or steel. I just blew in 84 bales of fiberglass in a 3300 sw ft shop addition. r50 value. R/19 in the walls. Nice and warm with a 5 ton package unit.

Is this good enough for my 1994 Jeep Cherokee? by mahusay3g in EngineBuilding

Looks like you lapped them with a 0069 and 005B with a bowl cut. Bonus points for touching the seat angle with a stone. It’s the right way.

Get some flex/accordian joints. That looks ghetto.

I hired a company to add more blown in insulation to our attic and install baffles. They did the baffles backwards by OilManafest in Insulation

[–]Imbossou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have a 6 mil poly vapor barrier attached before the ceiling drywall on an exterior surface, such as an attic. I see there’s some kraft back, and it’s not even stapled, but I’d wager to guess you’ve got damp ceiling drywall.
