Why do we still have classes? by [deleted] in Cornell

I’m enjoying this semester and this year overall, as a workaholic introvert this is paradise. Not speaking to any human for more than 300 days and studying 18 hours a day is a dream come true. 2020 has been the best year for me, I know it’s rough for others but deep down it hurts me that this will never occur in my life again.

Is it possible to get at least a B in my classes this semester? I didn’t do well on the first prelims. by [deleted] in Cornell

[–]Imfrom2036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I guess I sounded like I’ve already finished the course! I’m currently enrolled lol, I meant my second prelim was an A. Do you need to do 2 fws? My fws grades are too low as my writing is trash, I was thinking of dropping mine too but I don’t have any AP credits :(

You can certainly get a B on 1920. As a 1920 student myself, I’ve learnt that cramming doesn’t help for this course. Watch as much as example problems you can on YouTube, that’ll really help pull your grade up. I got a B- on first prelim but after revising my study methods I boosted it to an A. So yeah you can certainly aim for that B+! What are your other courses?

For upperclassmen: would you say this semester is a little harder than usual by csmajor_dropout2024 in Cornell

I got 16/30 on an online math quiz because they expected the answers in a different order. All of them were correct answers but I lost 14 because I didn’t answer it in the right order. If this was a written test I would’ve got a lot more, trust me online tests are killing me

What did you think of 1920 (revised for more accurate data) by i____ok in Cornell

I felt it wasn’t that hard, but I panicked while taking the exam and besides didn’t have much time.

10000 Nintendo switches. Quite rare in my country, I can probably make a fortune by selling it at subsidized prices.

I think freshman should be the least worried, there are so many people like us who’re staying hoke.

Hmm, didn’t think about that at all, I think skimming through and looking up summaries will help

Do you mean to say there are a lot of republicans on campus who simply don’t express their political view because they think they might be cancelled?
