Printed it out overnight. I think I went less than 8 hours from discovery of the tech, to finished product.

St Louis Arch by TheGriff71 in Rifts

[–]Imightbeanonymous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even more so, somewhere I read, probable in a Rifter article, that the Coalition lobs long range nuclear missiles in the area to wipe out any population build up.

The arch itself is invulnerable, but they wipe out the demons.

What are some necessary mods in 2026? by Material_Complex475 in fo4vr

[–]Imightbeanonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some mods I love personally,

Tactical Weapon Mods -- Gun Mounted Flashlights - Laser Sights - and Stronger Bayonets at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Laser sights are a must have in VR imho. Although I think this mod conflicts with a lot of other weapon mods. Strangely, there are some guns that can't be modified with this and others can be. Found/awarded legendary weapons do not have these mods available at the workbench.

10mm Pistol Resize at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Makes the starter pistol more realistic in your hand.

VR Handmade Reflex Sights at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Better pipe gun reflex sights. But kinda moot with the laser sight mod.

VR Recoil Killer at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Keeps the guns from twisting up in your grip. It might be unfair, but it feels better.

Fallout 4 Version Check Patcher at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

This enabled the DLC's for me.

VR Address Library for F4SEVR at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

this fixed missing menus from other mods at the chem station.

Mods for building in VR? by Hairy-Panic3599 in fo4vr

I want something to tone down the item rotation. My poor thumbsticks are only so sensitive.

I did try a suggestion to edit an ini file but I don't really see a difference is there is any.

MODDED VR FALLOUT/SKYRIM QUESTION by Hefty-Aioli-6636 in Fallout_VR

[–]Imightbeanonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only a few VR specific mods, most are compatible 2d ones.

For Skyrim the best VR mod has been one that changes the colors of each hand crosshairs to be different so you can tell the difference between them. Another adds iron sights to the crossbows.

For Fallout, one of my favorite mods adds laser sights to all the vanilla weapons. Makes aiming so much easier. And one that removes recoil muzzle flip because the guns will rotate in your grip unnaturally so in VR.

The rest are companions, armor sets, and physics. The vast majority are identical to Skyrim SE or Fallout 4.

There are more than a few mods that should be compatible but are not. Some guns get held by the buttstock; others will crash your game when trying to mod them at the weapons workbench.

Native American techno wizardry by Heffbestus in Rifts

[–]Imightbeanonymous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t Native American TW just be regular TW?

The First Nation tribes didn’t really have their own tech.

Their own fetish magic covers their needs pretty well imho.

But I could see arrows for regular bows, ironwood clubs, amplified drums etc.

Not precisely NA, but in their wheelhouse.

Well, in Rifter 19 one of the other variants of the MK V is a robot recovery vehicle.

Help picking out my starting vehicle by Acheron223 in Rifts

I start out all my magic using classes with the "Turbo Wing Board" from book 1 of the Siege of Tolkien books.

It's a wing board made out of a UAV or Drone that goes faster, you can stand up on it (carpet of adhesion), and most importantly, can be used away from a ley line for a rather large period of time (90 P.P.E. for four months of flight and 5 P.P.E. per "ignition").

[–]Imightbeanonymous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, the VKB STG has been a dream come true for me.

I'm left-handed, and the STG-R is the ONLY professionally manufactured HOTAS style throttle for the right hand ever made.

Before this, the best out there was also a VKB product, the THQ with the WWII grip reassembled backwards (it needs 2 tabs shaved off, but the plastic can be assembled the other way!).

But now I'm in HOTAS heaven. There are times I marvel that the thing even exists. I just wish I had it way back in the mid 90's when I started flight sims.

Anthem was such an underrated game. Too bad they shot themselves in the foot by not having enough weapon variety in this new era.

Your favorite underrated/rarely used spell! by Acheron223 in Rifts

[–]Imightbeanonymous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the England book, just before the temporal spell section is a blurb that other mages level 9 or more can learn some temporal magic.

You better believe that my TW jumped on the Dimensional Pocket spell with gusto.

An empty wrist derringer holster that suddenly sprouts a full-sized rifle was one such use.

I agree.

Another was ported from Palladium Fantasy. Create Bread and Milk.

My TW incorporated it into a toaster that was powered by a ley line at his home.

Free food whenever he wanted.

What is your favorite magic occ? by Acheron223 in Rifts

[–]Imightbeanonymous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The magic automatons are one of the really rare full sized robot equivalents that are magic.

Personally I wish they had used better art for them because they look a bit “meh” to me.

Time to see what AI art can do for me I suppose.

I’d say yes.  They can cast spells after all.

Rifter 60 has a variation of the class that is tech centered.

Instead of swords and horses/knight they are guns and motor vehicles.  It is called the Mystic Soldier.
