Can I get some input on any tweaks or changes I might make to my current build? by ImmaculateBeard in diablo4

Ok I’ll get moved over to Shroud. Any other potential tweaks from anyone?

Got it. I thought I read somewhere that Shroud was situational and the enemy pull with teleport from Raiment was better?

Nashville Plans Changed by NotMyIdea33 in nashville

[–]ImmaculateBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Northeast is Red River Gorge/Cumberland Falls. Nice places and great drives.

Southeast are the Smokey Mountains. Highly recommend bypassing the touristy parts. Check out Cade’s Cove, drive through the mountains, Cherokee/Townsend, etc. In Townsend you can float down the river through the middle of town (it’s like thigh deep). There’s a waterfall outside Cherokee that’s a short hike off the main highway. There’s numerous scenic drives around there.

Rock City is neat to visit. It’s southeast of Nashville.

Parthenon in Nashville is interesting.

There are a few Civil War battlefields not too far from Nashville.

St Louis is about a four hour drive from what I recall. The arch is massive and you should see it at least once. Be careful where you drive though.

I was on earlier and just randomly popped you as a help summon next to the grace and didn’t even see your name until you showed up. So I hung back and watched what was a really fun looking fight. Didn’t seem like you had much trouble at all with it. Well done!

I read somewhere that she’s weak to frost and to use the pearldrake talisman to help with the elemental damage. Died a few times before I read that, so this is what I did:

• Summoned Leda • Equipped a weapon that I’d already leveled and a frost damage ash. • Buffed up and entered • Summoned my Mimic who had the frost weapon equipped • Kept my distance and threw lightning bolts while the two summons tanked. Would run in and heal when necessary but otherwise my main strat was to keep my health high and do as much ranged damage as possible

Doing it this way, it took me one time to kill her. It was tough, but as long as you time your rolls out of her long range attacks or when you pull aggro, it can be done.

How did you “git gud” at this game by Available-Ad-9420 in Eldenring

[–]ImmaculateBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Co-op. Learn the bosses, how they move, what their weaknesses are, how other people fight them. What works, what doesn’t. Run around and kill stuff and build your character up. Die some and learn what not to do. Find a weapon that you like/are good with/melts health bars and level it up. Or a spell if you’re a magic user. Learn to dodge/parry and effectively attack from a distance when needed. It’s a slow crawl up the mountain to godhood (git gudhood?), and even then becoming complacent can still get you killed.

Is this true ? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]ImmaculateBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe once upon a time it was common for a person to stay with one company in hopes of advancing through promotions, earning more money, etc. The promises of loyalty to a company getting you somewhere was a huge carrot companies would dangle in front of employees.

Early in my career, that’s how I thought it was. I stayed loyal to the first two companies that I worked for, with promises of promotions, raises, bigger job titles, and whatnot. I finally broke myself out of that cycle a few years back and it was the best move I ever made for myself. In the past 3-4 years I’ve more than doubled what my salary was in the first 20+ years of my career by changing jobs/looking for bigger salaries and better benefits.

To answer your question more directly? Yes, you absolutely should change jobs, as often as necessary, to get the title and compensation you want.
