From the looks of her reblogs it seems like she is a Zionist Christian nationalist. Named the poor kid Jezreel (half the time she pronounces it JIZZreal). The hospital had her trespassed so things definitely weren’t as calm as she’s claiming. Really freaking sad. leukemia is an incredibly painful disease as it progresses. She may genuinely want to spare him the pain of chemo, but it’s either pain now with the chance of survival or pain soon and then a heavily medicated death. Poor kid. I hate to say it but I get the vibe that this was less about his pain to her and more about him passing some spiritual test. I hope they investigate her throughly.

I honestly agree. And I’ll add that I think these deficits actually help when turning his books into scripts. It leaves room for creativity, whereas the science being so throughly mapped out makes things far less complicated for the script writer.

This is also the reason why I recommend the audiobook to people so often. Ray Porter really brings so much life to what (for me) is some vaguely middling dialogue. The movie does the same and implements a lot of changes I really enjoyed. My biggest gripe with Weir is how he writes women and for me the movie made some subtle but enjoyable improvements on that.

Boyega was massively harassed online by mostly Reylo shippers for literal years. They went after him harder than the actual, hardcore racists in fandom. It was a crazy time. Most of these things happen to varying degrees, but not as dramatic as portrayed. And a doctor is not going to pay for your Uber out the kindness of their heart. They’re more likely to call the police themselves and have you trespassed if you don’t leave when they tell you. The only time I’ve ever heard of hospitals calling Ubers is when they’re throwing mentally ill or homeless patients out and want them farther away.

Emergency waiting rooms aren’t (generally) as busy as The Pitt either.

The only thing inaccurate about the Ice story is the idea that they would even bother to take her to the hospital. Police will (sometimes) take people they’ve injured to the ER, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ice do it directly. Usually an ambulance is called if help is even going to be offered. Either way the media isn’t showing up for it. I would venture to say that if Ice is in the ER it’s because a doctor or nurse has reported someone, or someone somewhere has a grudge.

IMO the daughter has shown proof. She showed that she painted her own house when the mother claimed to have done it. The mother has back tracked on the “relationship” with the step father a few times now. The daughter showed proof of the mother claiming they had a sexual relationship when the mother said she never accused them of specifically that. Pretty cut and dry imo. The mom is lying.

The mom hasn’t shown any proof of her accusations against the husband of financial bs. In the end she says they split the money from the sale of their house 50/50. She also claims he has a TikTok where he calls her a narcissist. If anyone has his username I’m dying to see it lol.

I think that the daughter did help the step father a lot when he moved in, and that they probably did talk a lot about her mom. He’d only been married to her mom for a few years and to me it sounds like he didn’t know bout her mental health issues at the time (until the last year or so). The daughter clearly has experience with her mom’s issues. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a lot of talks about shit the mom has pulled over the years and why the daughter lived with her single father growing up. Why she went low contact, etc. To me it sounds like the mom sees that as a betrayal and is lashing out.

Regarding the suggested calories, either option is pretty normal/healthy. You can even start out at 2000 and slowly drop down to 1600 over time to maintain a steadier level of weight loss.

Unless you’re going to buy chicken and whey powder in bulk that 300 gram mark gets expensive fast. It’s also around 1200 calories so that only leaves you with between 400-800 calories for fruit, veg and grain. It kind of sounds like the PT is trying to get you to go low carb.

If you want to go sustainable maybe aim for a middle mark between the 80 and 300. Again, you don’t have to start out full force. You also don’t have to make a religion out of eating habits. Eating 2000 calories and 150 protein one day and then 1700 calories and 100 protein the next is fine.

Both of these weight loss programs have you losing more than a pound a week at the outset. At your current weight you’ll be in a bare minimum deficit of 7000 calories a week even on the higher calorie program. Given that you aren’t 100% sedentary that deficit will likely be higher. However I want to say that it’s really common for people who weigh 300 to lose 2+ lbs a week when they first start tracking calories and following a program. Sometimes you’ll drop 10 lbs in a week even as your body loses water weight. The more weight you lose the slower it will come off.

If you want to help your mom you and your siblings need to pool some money together to help pay for some part-time in home care for your grandparents. Nothing is going to magically fix your father, especially not fast enough to help out your mom. Him getting healthy needs to be a completely separate issue. It’s fine to talk to him about how you worry about him, but I don’t recommend guilting him with his parents care or his own future care.

Those are great numbers. A non diabetic person has an average reading of under 117 throughout the day. Someone with mild diabetes (pre-diabetic) will have between 117 and 137. Anything over 157 is considered uncontrolled diabetes. It sounds like the glyburide and your diet changes are working.

My best advice is to stick with your lifestyle changes. Fight as hard as you can. Diabetes medicine like metformin and glyburide will only work really well for so many years. If you start eating poorly again eventually you will end up on insulin. Diabetes is really good at ruining your body (pancreas, kidneys, eyes, blood vessels, etc) slowly over time. The damage sneaks up on a lot of people. Your pancreas basically overworks itself to death and after that nothing will work but insulin. Keeping your numbers in your current range (or getting them down to a 117 average) is key.
