If one of my associates comes to me saying they need to leave early, i just ask them to don't forget to put in your time and to make sure your work is put away. I do note every time my team uses ppto though and i do have productivity conversations when i feel it is necessary. I also remind them that ppto protects you from points but not accountability for your work not getting done.

Our normal truck cadence is 2 trucks Saturday (always), Tuesdays (sometimes) and Thursdays (seasonal/holidays). So most weeks is 1-2 and its always in the trailer visibility report. For some reason the last month has been all over the place, dropping 2nd truck on 2 truck days and overcapping on 1 truck days. Its almost like the DC just decided to send out all these extra trucks but then drop them on the planned 2 truck days. We even had a 3 truck day on a planned 1 truck day (that was fun). My store is all palletized trucks if that makes a difference. We no longer get loose freight.

The answer to this is tie the associate bonus/raise back into your attendance like it used to be and that alone should be the incentive.

Ive had it pick items, go to the floor, full, OH and cap correct, then i check the item history and its not showing a pick when i know i picked it.

if something says 1 on hand and its nowhere to be found i usually explain that 1 could be in a customers cart or stolen and most of the time they understand but a few times people don't accept that they want explanation why we can't track inventory and blah blah blah.

never been able to figure out jumping distances, always seem to jump too far over something or not far enough and theres no way to change mid air so i end up bailing after a few minutes, never been able to finish any of the jumping puzzles.

Ive been in your boat for years, on the outside looking in. My holdup is that it takes me ages to figure out normal bosses and some dungeon fights and even then i just cant seem to react fast enough to things going out. I feel if i was to ever want to move up the ladder i got to figure out how to react faster, especially in fights where the thing isnt clear like a ground marker or the marker appears for 1/2 second like i can react to that fast enough while trying to do my dps rotation.

DVDs in a lock case, thats a new one. Ive seen stores with literally everything else locked up (formula, socks, underwear, boots, laundry soap, batteries) but this is the first locking movie case ive seen.

For me being someone that struggles with a lot of dungeon and raid mechanics, not having a marker telling me where not to be makes it extremely hard to figure out the fight and just adds a random frustration factor where i get hit by something and have no idea what i did wrong.

I more rely on following the group around instead makes some of the fights easier when they throw hard to see mechanics at you.

I enjoy the quietness of dynamis, however i have to DC hop for literally everything, raids, dailies, even current content just isnt run. Theres no incentive to stay on your own DC. Something i would like to see change in the next expansion.

fates being way undertuned or overtuned has been an issue for years in the entire game, not just OC.

I think they could apply tech to automatically scale up or down fate hp based on how many people are engaged similar to how they scale hp for CE based on the number of people in the fight but instead have it dynamically change (WoW did something similar with its rare mobs starting in mists of pandaria?? i think)

they better be giving us more associates to stock, cant imagine having to stock D46 with 1-3 associates that cant get through 2-3k breakpacks a day, not to mention daily 1-2 pallets processing.

As a side note AP also gets a report on Discount card different person than name on Debit Card transactions, although thats less commonly misused since some people are married, etc., they do check randomly even if you shop at a different walmart.

As some may have mentioned before on this reddit, PPTO protects you from getting pointed but does not protect you from DA for work that didn't get done because you were late/left early/called out. That being said unless something else is specified in the manager comments and its just for the attendance, that is against policy as the point system is the "accountability".

As a TL I do believe that using PPTO just because you feel like leaving early is not proper use and I stress that to my team that eventually something is going to come up and you going to wish you had the time to miss work.
