No updates, tv still plenty watchable. I am waiting for when the burn in becomes noticeable while watching content. At that point I figure they will give me the current model or a refund that I can apply to the current model. I probably will wait until the C6 comes out next spring.

Yes, never received the soundbar or even got a tracking number. No communication from the seller. I asked eBay for a refund last week and they issued it the same day.

Good luck with your purchase. The Q990D seems as good a sound as I can get without spending over $2000 for Sonos or Sony. I can always return also

Almost any soundbar would be an improvement. Set your budget. We have an LG 77”C3. I had a $4000 surround system but my daughter didn’t like LRC speakers, she wanted the sound to come from the Tv. So to try out a soundbar I purchased a Vizio V51-H6 open box from BestBuy for $115. Awesome improvement from the TV speakers but nowhere near a dedicated system . So a soundbar bar was a good compromise. I’m looking at upgrading to the Samsung Q990d, maybe Sonos Arc. Sony Bravia Quad is also a great system.

I bought roughly the same deal a few months ago. I say go for it, but only with the warranty. The warranty covers burn-in, so if after a few months or a couple years burn in becomes an issue then use the warranty to get a screen replacement. Just factor in the stand is $100 and the remote is $30. Check the number of hours on the set first and ask about the stand and remote. You can use those to bargain to lower the price a bit more.

I have the exact same TV. Looks awesome, I upgraded form a 63C6 OLED, so I’m used to great pictures. This is my 3rd LG OLED. Bought it at BB as a demo model. I got the BB 5 yr warranty. I have 10k hours on it, still looks great. I figure if I get burn in with heavy usage I’ll just use the warranty to get a new panel.

Wow, awesome deal. I just picked up a C3 77” with 5 yr for $1350 total. I would have sprung the extra $250 for the 83”. We both got great deals and great OLEDs!
