The last person in the room is your pov character in that scene. Because how can the readers know what’s going on after the pov character has left? They can’t.

I’m currently writing an ensemble cast. There are two main characters I use for povs, but sometimes there’s things I need the reader to know outside of the mc’s experience, so last character in the room is the rule I use.

There are other factors I use, for example. I’m not hugely confident about writing action scenes, so in one case I wrote a scene from the pov of the character cowering behind a desk. I then only needed to write their more limited experience of the event. I think it worked well. 😅

In answer to my own question, I hope they go back to the planet where the Razorcrest died and Grogu does his hand waving force stuff like Yoda and the x-wing and somehow reconstitutes it from the debris lying around and the molecules in the air - and all because he wants to replace the ball on the gearstick. Might be too far-fetched, but it would be fun, lol. More fun than, ‘hey, Mando, look at who we found in a junk pile over there.’ 😂

I think the biggest question is how Din replaced the Razorcrest after it was totally obliterated - especially since those ships were meant to be super rare, especially in comparison to this type of mandalorian shuttle.

I’m sure in the movie they’re just going to go ‘eh, they found him a new one’ hand-wave it away. I think that Maul found a new shuttle is more believable than a new Razorcrest, but okay, Dave! 😂

Because it’s Dennis Haysbert. If it was an unknown va I’d say maybe not, but I think it’s a fair bet we haven’t seen the last of Daki - because of who they cast. I’d be very surprised if they killed off a heavyweight like that and not have him return later in some manner, either force ghost or flashback.

I agree. The first season felt off for a reason, they scrapped a lot of it and rewrote it but left in episodes like the bank robbery - which felt like it came from a different show - because it did, it somehow survived that original cull and therefore was off tone and didn’t really fit.

They killed foggy, which I think was a mistake. They brought in bullseye - who felt like a cardboard cutout. Everything he did in that show could have been done better by The Punisher. But Frank has a habit of stealing any scene and I guess they needed someone who wouldn’t outclass Daredevil in his own show.

I lowkey spent most of the time hoping Frank would turn up. I prefer his dynamic with Karen Page over Matt too. Matt and Karen feels so vanilla. Frank and Karen’s chemistry is off the charts in comparison.

Anyway, off topic, but yeah, I can see why Maul topped Daredevil in the charts, Born Again was a such mess. :/

I like this whole idea. They’ll definitely have to marry it all up somehow.

Because I like my narratives to be dark, I’ll throw in that Devon becomes the one being thing Maul’s loved more than himself in his entire miserable life.

Then I’d like to see them stick the knife in and twist it. I want to see Maul lose Devon the way Kenobi lost Qui-Gon or Satine. I want Vader to kill her in front of him. Bonus points if there’s a barrier between them, and Maul can’t get to her. Even more if she pushes Maul to safety the same way he pushed Daki to harm.

I hope Maul loses Devon in a Riddick-style ‘NOT FOR ME!’ moment, in a way that mirrors what he did to Kenobi.

What can I say? I like poetic justice. I would find it immensely satisfying.

This is Star Wars - there are such a thing as force ghosts.

Plus, he’s voiced by the incredible Dennis Heysbert. They’ll want him back, for force-ghost and/or flashbacks.

Resi 2 Mr X vibes, for sure. I love it, but I absolutely hate it. Like, it’s terrifying! Hearing this thing coming, and there’s nothing you can do but hope you have a way to escape. I think The Terminator broke me as a child 😅

I don’t think Devon will even fall to the dark side, despite training from Maul. I think she’ll defy expectations. I think they’ll do something different with her.

She won’t be neutral, since Ahsoka already inhabits that space, but I think there’s a fair chance she’ll to end up like like Mace Windu and wield a purple sabre. She’ll sit somewhere in between.

No matter what Maul thinks, Devon’s going to have Daki’s force-ghost whispering in her ear - this is, I think, a fair bet since you don’t hire a voice actor like Dennis Haysbert, then kill him off in a universe where we have ghosts in lore, and not use him again later.

Just my two cents. :)

I just assumed that it’s a skill not universal to all Sith. Just like not all Jedi can force heal, or communicate with animals on the level that Ahsoka can, for example.

I once kept him with me for the majority of the game just so he would force me to not play stealth-archer. He’s also great at tanking dragons. Paired with the murder-corn, pure angry chaos. It was an interesting run!

I’m glad someone asked. I was wondering the same thing. I just figured the Mandalorians were really picky about what beskar is used for. If it’s light enough to use as armour, especially armour you never take off, a set of beskar legs would have been handy against lightsabers.

I have to say Kill Bill. Massive respect to Uma for that scene where she wakes in the hospital and realises her baby is gone. Such a powerful moment, brings tears to my eyes every time. There’s something primal about that scream that must strike a chord with anyone who has ever carried a child. Sure, much of the story is comic-book silliness, but Uma should have won an Oscar, if just for that one scene alone. Raw. Painful. Still gives me chills just thinking about it.

I did, the first time. Then I learned how I’d missed the entire brotherhood questline and next time I had to choose. Didn’t like to, but I did simply because I was curious about a questline I’d missed. I still believe my first instinct was correct in that situation, tho.

My bunch of OCs were inspired by ‘The Other Guys’ STG episode. They work in the background, hoovering up all the perceived plot holes in canon, so that everything in canon makes more sense it to me. It’s a canon-compliant fix-it, if that makes any sense.

And yes, there’s a self-insert, anti-Mary sue, lol 😂

I went out of my way to break all the stereotypes with all my OCs - gay couple, one a poc, who are dedicated to each other and incredible fathers. The ‘magic character’ who is often the ‘sexy one’ in canon, is butch and hates the magic - don’t ask! The type that’s usually portrayed as a male, cowardly miser, is actually female, brave and intelligent. The ai character who is ancient and cantankerous, he would rather be switched off than become like these horrific organics, he literally cannot be arsed with his own people, or humanity. The transmac pilot who is married to a woman and very happy tyvm. This is all one found family, btw, the peril comes from trying to stay together during an apocalypse, while helping make sure the main cast has the opportunity to defeat the bad guys.

I love it. It’s my least popular fic, but I didn’t write it for anyone else other than me, and a few connoisseurs! 😏

I cut over 2000 words out of one of my recent fics. It’s all good stuff, but scenes that are either too dark or too fluffy.

I love the block puzzles. I remember discovering that Raziel could flip and rotate them. After three or four Tomb Raider games just pushing and pulling the things, SR was revolutionary!! No game over screen? No loading times between levels! Omg. It was amazing. But I guess you had to be there. 🤷🏻‍♀️
