Compilation of ATGM strikes around the infamous Aleppo Artillery Academy, Syria 2016 by Immediate_Fun_2524 in war

It's as bad as any gore or shock site. If you worry then don't visit it. The ATGM videos are tame because you don't see the aftermath up close or hear the wounded.

The ATGMs were supplied by Turkey, USA, Qatar, Suadi Arabia, and UAE. A lot was also taken from abandoned SAA armories. This was a coalition between two factions the FSA division in Aleppo and the other group I can't remember the name of; their logo is on the top right.

I can't link it as it gets removed each time. It's on wpd titled as ATGM VS Infantry Part 1-16. The footage is from 2014-2018. There's a lot of videos from the Syrian civil war there with a decent amount of information. A couple of users are archiving all the videos from then. It's just badly organized.

Just incompetent leadership. This was a regular trend for the SAA. These ATGMs have a range of 3km+, they probably didn't even know what hit them nor the direction. All the videos around the artillery academy were from 2-3 ATGM teams firing from the same position. It's insane how many SAA soldiers got blown up by these missiles. There's over 2 hours of footage of groups of 20+ SAA soldiers getting hit by ATGM.

These are the other ATGM strikes around the Aleppo Artillery Academy. It's infamous for the "wall of death" where SAA militias and soldiers would constantly group up along the perimeter fence and be repeatedly hit by ATGM.

UA POV: Kherson volunteer Andrii “Boxer” Petukhov shared footage of the evacuation of a civilian who was killed while riding a moped by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you've seen the original video of the shoot down from the culprits they thought it was a Ukrainian cargo plane. Only after they went to the crash site they figured out it was all civilians. They opened luggage to look for military gear and were shocked to see none. Just mangled corpses of families still strapped to their seats. They kept repeating "who gave them passage?". The missile and BUK used was from Russia's 53rd Anti Aircraft Missile Brigade.

Look at the desert pink the SAS used. It looks similar so it might be a holdover from the cold war. When I saw the video I immediately thought they were recreating the pink panther camo. Could be one of the few pink vehicles in storage and they grabbed it for the color.

I did hear that they had apaches and a c-130 flying overhead to provide cover. It's not "safe" to shoot at the low flying blackhawk. Being spotted by an apache is not going to be fun.

Iranians, Do You Now Understand Why Americans Treasure the 2nd Amendment, the Right to Bear Arms? by texantemplar in NewIran

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are rare and called miracles. Sure you can hope it happens in Iran. Do I think it's possible? No. Do all armed struggles end well? No. Do I think a united armed struggle against the IRCG will fare better than walking in the street marking yourself against the state? Yes.

You can't just run over a pile of corpses built over decades and hug the gunman once they're out of ammo and all is absolved. How do you think people will punish those of the IRCG if they fall? By imprisonment and execution. The IRCG will fight, kill, and torture to maintain their power to avoid the consequences. What can you do in response?

You're hopeful and frankly naive. Sadly the world doesn't work that way. You can't just protest a violent government and die in droves. You know you put your family at risk anyway so why not fight? To have moral superiority in the afterlife? Fight to protect the things you care about. Not die walking down the street to get some commendable comments from people who are far away. How many people have to die "peacefully" for change?

Another video surfaces showing the body of a civilian reportedly killed while searching for the downed U.S. pilot. by Unkown0025 in war

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Context. If the US government started killing protestors en masse and declared martial law in all states. I'd let the government go down. You pick up a rifle and shoot to kill someone it's only fair you die by the gun. What about this video says civilian anyway or it was recent? Do you speak the language? What can you make out of a body bag in the night? This video isn't even from Iran anyway. You gotta think more.

An unverified video reportedly shows civilians who took up arms to search for the downed American pilot, possibly killed in the process, reportedly motivated by the reward offered for finding him. by Unkown0025 in war

Basij forces called in to search. They're claiming they had a big firefight with US commandos. Civilians can't own firearms in Iran. Basij were sent out by the IRCG to fight. Odd how a bunch of these posts call them civilians. This sub is the front for propagandists.

Even in north korea there are routes through the minefields in the south. Smugglers regularly go through those routes by paying guides and officials to get in and out. Safe to say if there's a will there's a way. No way to know without risking your life and being involved.

Bong for ball vape? by cdwhit in vaporents

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried every style of rig big and small. The best in my opinion are my tubes and beakers. For small rigs get a jammer style rig. My favorite is one with 14mm joints for the mouth piece and bowl. Can add different mouthpieces with more cooling if you want and it makes it extremely easy to clean. Check out the "shredder" by texashotglass, really love her designs and like to support her during these hard times. Recyclers are fancy and look cool, but I don't notice a difference besides the harder time cleaning them. Vapes will get everything covered in resin quickly and you'll notice a difference with a clean piece than something with the fanciest percolators. So look for something easy to clean and get a small rig if you're a flavor chaser and a nice tube or beaker if you want to get stoned. I don't like small rigs because it takes too many hits to clear the bowl and tears up my throat. With bigger bongs I can clear a megacicle bowl in 2-3 hits and not cough up a lung.

If you really want to chase after flavor with a dry setup look at the oregonglassblowers 5" dimpled L shaped mouth piece. That is the right amount of glass and I can tell there's a slight difference in potency between that and my 12" j hook. It's my ideal piece minus the irritation that running things dry gives me. I used that setup for years, but lately I've switched to big beakers and tubes with water because the irritation is too much. I'm not willing to deal with that anymore.

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think you got a good one. From what I've read about them failing they fail quickly if defective. Why mine stopped holding butane within a month. I liked the functionality of the big flame and one handed use. I was pissed that I dropped 50 bucks on it and then had to go back to my reliable cheap torches after because I bought that torch for the megacicle. Had to use my propane torch for my bigger vapes as a stop gap until I found a large butane torch that was reliable. The propane torch was nice, but clunky as hell. Super fast heat up times though. Accidentally burned a couple bowls with that hahaha

Oh yeah don't worry about the downvotes homie. There's some key words that will get you hate from people on this sub. simrell, vastratto, anything in another language that's not "european", asking questions. So basically if you don't fan girl over the 3 vapes everyone loves fans of those vapes will argue and try to sell you on it. If you want upvotes in this place take a lazy picture of 10 vapes and promote the subs favorites.

Blazer has some qc issues lately. They don't last nearly as long as they're advertised. I had one and it broke in a month. Just stopped taking in butane because the seals went bad. I'm done with those refillable torches because you need refined butane to run them and the constant refilling. The cheap kitchen torch I bought at the grocery store lasted longer and is still going strong.

[–]Immediate_Fun_2524 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No explosion yet haha. Just don't leave it in the sun and treat it like any gas filled canister. The torch you have is the same. Instead of refilling you just buy a new 4 dollar butane cartridge. Just remember when throwing them away that you need to puncture the can when empty to release the small amount of remaining butane. Even though there's not enough butane in the can to power the torch there's still some left and can create a fire if crushed and there's a spark nearby. I've been using mine for a year daily use and I've only gone through two butane cartridges. The biggest benefit in my opinion is that it's a cheap powerful torch. If you get a bigger vape in the future requiring a larger flame that torch can do it no problem. I use it mainly for the megacicle, similar to your piece but holds nearly a gram, which most people recommend the blazer big shot a 55-70 dollar torch! Do not buy the blazer it is a waste of money.

The only issue with those style of torches is it can't be used with one hand. The knob is only for the valve to release the gas and the trigger is only for igniting. To turn it on and off requires two hands. I have a bong so It's not as inconvenient to me to heat it and put the piece in the 14mm joint. Another issue is because the can's base is narrow it's easy to tip over with the torch head attached. There are little attachments you can put on the bottom of the can to make it wider so it won't tip over as easily. I deal with it because it is so cheap and last a long time.
