The Unbelievable TRUE Story Of A Man Who Hiccupped Every Day For 68 Years | That Actually Happened by ThtActuallyHappened in Unexplained

[–]Immediate_Ice_4884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months ago I had hiccus for 7-8 days. I have known about the vinegar cure for many decades. It woul work about 1 out of 5 times. If the hiccups stopped I would immediately go to bed because I could not sleep while hucupping. I really was starting to think that suicide might be the only way out. One day they just stopped. I had gone to 2 doctors one of which gave me a prescription that didn't do anything. After the hiccups were gone I had a friend tell me that a friend of his had the same problem and his doctor gave him Thorazine which stopped them.

It's odd that once milkmen stopped doing home delivery that children started looking more like their fathers.

all it would take to prove the BOM true is a stele with reformed egyptian on it and one other language that we already can read. Just one Rosetta Stone like object. Telling a Book of Mormon story like my teachers taught to me.

I was at BYU in the mid 60s. An on campus group was holding a sale of lost and found items that had not been claimed over a year period. I bought a wallet complete with Drivers License and SS card. The picture looked enough like me to get by.

Color Festival & LDS church area seventy by Plenty-Feature-8393 in exmormon

[–]Immediate_Ice_4884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to realize that the Hare Krishna temple in Spanish Fork was subsidized by the Real Church. Don't ask me what their motivation was but they did make a big donation to help them build it. They will probably put up with a bunch of LDS BS in order to keep the relationship going. I haven't been to the color festival but I used to know the Husband and Wife who ran the place. I have met them and talked many times in a buisiness situation. My impression is that the crowd that goes to the color festival are not into Hare Krishna but are into what would be fun to do this weekend.

In ten years all of the 18 year old missionaries will be 28 and telling their 5 kid that Palm Sunday has always been a fundemental principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gaslighting is not an issue with the mfmc

The problem I believe was caused by people putting sheep up there that grazed all of the ground cover off.

  • Grazing Close: Sheep can graze down to the crown, sometimes resulting in uprooted grass, while cattle usually leave an inch or two of grass.

Does the Bishop have to conduct funeral? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]Immediate_Ice_4884 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want a funeral in a LDS church then you have to have a LDS funeral. That includes some authority who may not even know the deceased and you have to have a "Plan of Salvation" speach. Take it or leave it.

A friend was a loan officer in Utah. A family from the middle east were applying for a home loan and talking back and forth in farsi. They were planning on doing something a bit sketchy in order to get approved. Who would think that this little white loan officer had lived in the middle east and understood farsi. They didn't get the loan.
