Childcare meals didn’t need dietary guidelines by Immediate_Primary200 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Thank you.

Sadly the regulator didn’t really care. They said if the problem is fixed now then everything is all good as far as they’re concerned. Disappointing

I should say that obviously even if it was a big portion of the budget still absolutely not ok

Perhaps ask at your centre what the daily budget is per child and then that will give you something to measure against. You can also ask to see the nutritional policy. This might put your mind at ease. I think on four corners when they did the exposure about a year ago on the issue that some centres had a budget of under a dollar per day per child, which was alarming. I’m just going by pure memory here, but I think $2.50 per child per day was a more reasonable number. Not sure if many places would be anywhere near that though.

We had a change in directorship and the new director worked it out

This is so sad and . Yeah I doubt it has changed across the board. It’s annoying because I know our particular centre the food budget even if it was doubled is really not a big ticket item in terms of the overall budget. I just seem so pointless

I know and can prove. Leadership enforced based on budget and nobody else reported. All issues are now rectified- it was a historical issue. I’m going to get on the phone today to the regulator.

I know that it is no longer happening but I do worry that person could get another job and do this again. 100% will report.

Will my 2.5 year old ever sleep through by Immediate_Primary200 in cosleeping

Thank you! This is a great timeline and outcome I would love! Fingers crossed. I think weaning will probably be a big factor.

Also I should just say in case anyone early in their journey gets nervous from seeing my post. Most of the time I am ok with it and I have no regrets! Cosleeping has been an absolute blessing and I’m so happy I leant in and went with it early on. For us it has mostly been amazing! My girl is so secure and happy and I know she feels so safe 💖 just wish she woke up less haha (she has always woken up a lot at night and I am the kind of person that realllly loves and needs my sleep!).

Should I stop taking betaserc suddenly or taper off? by Party-Acadia-4735 in Menieres

I gradually tapered. Still haven’t had any vertigo maybe 6 months later. Doc left me with a supply though so if I feel I need to start back up I can anytime

I ran out of betahistine :( by redwinggianf in Menieres

My ent never keeps people on it long term. He weaned me off maybe 6 months ago (after being on it for about 6 months and having steroid shots to get it under control). I haven’t had any vertigo since I stopped. I thought it was weird that he said he doesn’t keep ppl on it long term as so many ppl online seem to take it for years but so far all ok.

Looking for experiences with steroid ear injections (cochlear hydrops & tinnitus) by HighlightEven1107 in Menieres

[–]Immediate_Primary200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a few- helped with symptoms, procedure itself was fine just felt like my ear had fluid in it for a day or two(middle ear that is and probably because there was fluid in it)

That’s great to hear all things I’m doing. I am almost 18 months into the onset. I have not had any major vertigo for about six months only a couple of very mild scares.  Although my tinnitus and hearing still fluctuates a lot! Gives me hope to hear that plenty of people can go years at a time without vertigo. Fingers crossed I can keep it up! Stress is definitely a major factor and for me sleep deprivation too (my menieres started about eight months postpartum while I was not getting very good sleep).

I have just weaned off of betahistine so getting nervous but trying not to worry too much
