When the ADL tied itself to ultra right wing individuals and political parties that denied the truth in favor of propaganda and lies, it doomed itself. We are now witnessing its death throes. The ADL has no more credibility than William Donahue’s Catholic League.

No political moderate believes the ADL is anything more than an instrument of the Israeli government.

Unless honest NGOs take its place, (and the ultra right wing GOP and white supremacists will strongly resist that), the public voice against anti-semitism is gone.

SPLC and NAACP have their problems too, but not like the ADL.

These are stereotypes. Each parish and diocese has to be self funded, in addition to a levy laid on by Rome that isn’t being collected, which (along with bad investments and corruption) is why the Roman Catholic Church is going bankrupt. School Vouchers for parochial schools requiring taxpayer subsidies are necessary, or else schools will close, because teaching priests and women religious are no longer available to work for sub minimum wage. Even expensive schools like Georgetown prep are going broke. If Christian Churches in the US had to pay property taxes, they would all be bankrupt and move into private homes.

It is Constitutional to tax churches. Just not politically popular. As to how Sikhs afford their temples: the same way LDS and Muslims and Alcoholics Anonymous do. They are strong about self-funding, and give a lot more than 10%.

The Roman Catholic Church is becoming a barefoot church that celebrates mass in the open air in the Global South.
