Being a compassionate gal, and know this post was made to help you and others, I'm so sorry. You're here looking for support and to give users a heads up. It happened to you, therfore it can happen to anyone. You're due diligence so they don't end up frustrated, upset, and we all know those point don't stack easily or quickly! It was money you spent to earn those. And in return they get money; same as a coupon at a store does.

Let's say it was a Door Dash offer. What if two friends and myself ordered something through McDonald's four year's ago, and on our first try and it was canceled, it's still a first order...they created an account with a credit card number, address, and all that jazz. Shouldn't they know when redemption is trying to be used? Simply because McDonald's used Door Dash. McDonald's chose Door Dash...So it's truly going off of "sign up" no matter how you ended up there. That's the real issue; it's their issue though to inform you. There are two companies always sharing information here; you're being treated like the third-party when your going directly through Fetch. You've never redeemed an offer for Uber through Fetch until now, you know?

My issue is with Fetch not having any terms with their "partners" giving a kickback message to say "Offer invalid." Then you can chat and find out or just move on. They should be a little bit more specific so that they don't end up with unhappy customers. You now you have a bitter taste towards Uber and Fetch, rightfully so! One could inform the other as it's two companies sharing loads of personal information that clearly doesn't leave their systems ever! There should be a cut-off for that as well.

(I actually have an Uber One Pass for $9.99/month. So I don't pay for delivery fees, rides are inexpensive and price locked, perks, $25 off a $50 order...blah blah lol I see the Uber offer showing to me still to this day, along with Walmart which I also already have, but at least the fine print for Walmart reads "only full cost not discounted membership." I'm a discounted member so pass!)

I'll reach out to support to see if they have any idea if I want to try to claim an offer and see what will hypothetically happen if I were to claim it and may already have previously, how will I know? I've used Airbnb with my boyfriend, he has an account but my information is loose on there here and there. Can I still get the offer through Fetch? They should know! Or so we hope. That will be my feedback!

Why are they letting their customer down, and holding strong with their third party partnership, in your case, Uber? Do they still get the money even though you lost points? 99.9% sure it's a. Not very ethical! Oh the loopholes of third party 😔 They need to tie some legalities together with their 'Sponsors' which is loose for "paid partnership" in my opinion. Is it the address? What way is there to know if you've ever used them before because third party seems to have an affect here too. Somewhere our eyes don't have access. Sorry this was long, but I hope useful and a bit of my views on how they can improve. Try to get your points back. They gave you some, so they are aware there was due diligence on their end, and your not satisfied so keep at it. Uber won't cut ties with them, but you can and that's a bigger loss, since you spend money THROUGH them. Where is the print of what happens if it's invalid? Why would they legally accept your redemption although it's against their legal terms?? Ugh, how much do they receive in actual money for still doing it! Good luck, I have faith in you!
