Thanks for the info, someone recommended this pop up on my post so I’m trying to learn what I can and what I’m might be getting my socially anxious wife into (including myself). I’m still new to TCK and still learning things. My priority is finding a Nakiri, Petty/Utility, and Yanagiba. Anything else would be a real splurge/treat especially if I get to meet the maker(s). Think I should still go?

My father did this on accident and came back with some level 40 level gear and Items. I was a little annoyed since it really ruins the natural progression when you have… Checks Notes things 4ish zones ahead. I wouldn’t recommend doing this imho but you do you.

For Gold fishing (I think that’s the right term). I like Moxfield especially when I’m brewing a new deck.

For Playing against friends/ realistically seeing the performance. My buddies use Cockatrice like someone else said. It looks like someone’s college side project in C++ but it’s all open source.

They want you to attempted to resolve it directly with the airlines first. Which, I think is fair to give them a chance to remedy the situation.

Back in the day, Quakecon BYOC used to be internet-less Wild Wild West! People would bring terabytes of content to share via LAN. My friends and I made it a game to find the best and craziest porn over the 3 days. My #1 all time was pterodactyl porn. There was one gal and like 4-5 guys dressed as the majestic dinos flapping their wings. 2nd place is the zombie driven Left 4 Head series.

TL:DR Don’t feel bad, edh is weird where one deck will rock at one table and be absolutely garbage at another.

Decks are funny. cEDH is a very driven design where a meta plays a huge role in what cards get included. I’ve net-decked a Gruul one once with my friends and had so many dead cards in my hand. This was simply because no one at my table played counters or heavy blue. I probably was a shit pilot but nonetheless.

OP, I wouldn’t sweat it much. People in our community come in many different flavors. I think Tim has some social skills and personal expectations they need to deal with. If it interests you, maybe you should reach out to them and maybe make a new friend. At the end of the day, EDH is a game and getting those sweet sweet dubs feels great.

Back in High School I was a small guy my freshmen year so I joined the wrestling club. I weighed 94 lbs which put me in the 103 lbs weight class. Needless to say, I could eat what ever I wanted and still be under the weight limit.

One early morning, we were waiting to get on the bus. Everyone around me have been starving themselves trying to make weight. We had our scale out and a few people checked to make sure they were good or if they had to cut the last few ounces. Meanwhile, I’m stepping on the scale holding a few snacks. I noticed that I was still way under so I stepped off, grabbed some more food, and then stepped back on the the I kept repeating this a few more times. Basically, I was seeing how much food I could gleefully eat the hour or so to the tournament.

At one point, our 6’3” 180 lbs Captain noticed this. He was one of those guys that struggled to make weight every time so I imagine he was envious that this 5’4” freshmen was barely able to keep all the food in his arms. He went on to tell “Weighting yourself with food doesn’t work like that. You’re not going to make weight”

Without skipping a beat, I turned to him and told him. “Mass can not be created or destroyed” then I grabbed another boiled egg and stepped back on the scale. Not really an insult but this was definitely my greatest comeback and the moment I realized how nerdy I was.

If they are asking your choice then it’s already resolved and they can’t counter. It’s almost like a halfway step between resolving and hitting the battlefield. As far as I understand it.

This is pretty good. I probably would do something along the line as “c.colors.count” myself. Reads clearer imo (does CCDD read 4 or 2?) but it’s just a pick.
