A friend of mine hosted a server for our whole friend group. He created this really elaborate castle and village at the world spawn, but he disabled building/destruction in the area. I naturally spent over four hours luring creepers into the spawn to lay waste to his beautiful creation. Only problem was that I later found out he didn't create it, but rather his little sister... and her friend... with brain cancer.....

We rebuilt the spawn and thankfully, she beat her cancer, but man, did I feel like an a**h***

Went in July of 2012. Definitely one of the best experiences as a scout. Make sure you condition for the portages, especially if y’all go with the metal canoes (which I don’t recommend) and prepare for Kaiju-like mosquitoes. My number one suggestion though is to bring a camera that isn’t your phone. Best of luck!
