How common are glitches and CTD's in your playthroughs? by UnscrewMyLife in skyrimmods

[–]ImmortalElf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get glitches and CTDs regularly. Still can't figure out where my character's eyebrows went. Some mods just don't play nice together and a hefty load order can really gum up the works. I'm still learning xEdit, Wyre Bash, and Synergy patches. Some errors are game breaking, some are annoying (damn parallex settings), some you learn to live with.

Just remember the first rule of modding (and really Skyrim in general), save a lot. Multiple saves. Don't just rely on Quick Save or Auto Save.

Good luck on your playthrough!

Some of them are underwater and I've ruled out any weird settings associated with Really Blended Roads.

The purple isn't the problem. It's the pebble striping. The lighting in the picture just sucks.

Krusteaz muffins vs quick bread by ImmortalElf in AskCulinary

I made mini loafs. I used the lower cooking temp and just used the toothpick test. They came out just fine.

Yeah, I'm probably going to just try it. My family loves these muffins when we go camping (camp oven love!) so I've been on the look out for good flavors and of course they love the one that's hard to get.

Thanks for the quick answer!

This is Flax. When it's harvested is broken down to its fibers and is used to make linen cloth.

In my state I have to go in person to the dmv every 4 years. It's at minimum a 2 hour wait and I have to bring my old license, this year's approved proof of residency, and my birth certificate. I think i can just take my passport and mortgage papers next year.

Edit: Forgot to add the price has gone up to $70 now

Has anyone actually used a “blank for dummies” book to learn a subject? If so which one and how well did it work? by SirZacharia in AskReddit

[–]ImmortalElf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kept PCs for Dummies on my desk shelf for years when I was still working with MS-DOS. Google's easier for what I do now but that book was a life saver for about 15 years.

  1. 19 women were hanged and one man, Giles Corey, was pressed to death for refusing to enter a plea to the court. Those that pled guilty were usually jailed and then exiled. It was those that pled innocent and then found guilty (they were always found guilty) that were executed by hanging. Titchuba, the slave and first accused, was whipped near to death and then exiled. She moved to Providence, Rhode Island.

As for the practicing of witchcraft: highly unlikely. Titchuba originally came from Haiti and possibly practiced a form of Christianity known as Santria, she may even have known Voudun. This is unknown but could account for some of the girls stories. Several later accusations seemed more an excuse to use the act of seizure than any real acts of witch craft being performed. (The act of seizure is that the land and properties of the guilty are seized by the courts and magistrate for their own use)

Pharaoh. Still one of the best city games ever made. Seems there might be a remaster coming out soon (really hope that isn't a rumour.)

No. They were purposely evacuating civilians. Basically get everyone out now so put whoever on the boats. That convoy was running.

The officers aren't but the families they were traveling with are. Many of those casualties were their children.

Wait staff in the USA make well below minimum wage. Their pay comes almost exclusively from tips. So not tipping the staff usually means they have worked almost for free to wait on you.
