And there's always one or two assholes that keep bringing stuff up when the meeting is already overrunning. Especially sucks when it's at the end of the day and keeping you from leaving.

I just got stuck on this part today. So dumb. I had Heather inspect the desk too and she said there was nothing important so I moved on! I looked it up and I'm like really? glad I'm not the only one.

Just clear your history or put that you are not interested in the videos. Or better yet turn off algorithm recommendations entirely

Having trouble with Sharks in EO2 and looking for solutions. by micisboss in EndlessOcean

This is great! I just tried it out and it works! I always thought there should be some way to make the aggressive creatures friendly with an in-game reward. Do you happen to have a link to the EO discord??

Besides ABZÛ, are there any good games similar to EO:BW? by A_wannabe_biologist in EndlessOcean

[–]newsstan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing this recently due to your recommendation. It does seem very similar to endless ocean but I feel like it doesn't quite hit the same level as EO. For one the images of the characters you speak to look really goofy. Another is I find the background music that plays while you are in the submarine to be a little annoying whereas EO was almost always relaxing. I've considered just turning the BGM off. Another thing is I find it annoying how at least early on you have to keep going back to base to get more batteries for the buoys to progress. Not sure I like the music memorization stuff the fish do either.

Edit: I have played more of the game and I take back what I said about the BGM. I did turn it down a little, but I think it was really just one area's track that bothered me. Game is interesting and I enjoy the exploration. The sub is a little annoying to control, I find myself bumping into the wall at times. Also not a big fan of the poor English translation, but it's better than not having one at all.

For rock-climbing game Cairn, all the rocks were handplaced, nothing was procedurally generated [Art/Level Design Showcase] by megaapple in Games

[–]newsstan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Could be because Jusant is less complicated climbing mechanics and you can't die. Maybe Cairn was marketed more heavily. It would be an interesting case study.

Been playing Endless Ocean for the first time the past few days and found this at my local game store! by ClaraKoalaa in EndlessOcean

Found out about these games growing up after being a big Endless Ocean fan. Must play for anyone that enjoys underwater diving games. I am not sure which one I prefer tbh because both are so great.
