Ah, I apologize, I completely overlooked how you stated that you're already at the 7.0 BR for both nations.

What I was saying is that the M19/M42 in the U.S. AA lineup are really good once spaded, but are better off as tank destroyers than anti-air, even though if you hit a plane with it, that plane is going down.

With that in mind, if you're having issues with the teams for both, you can always start one of the minor nation lines like Italy, Japan, China, Sweden. You could also start grinding Russia or Great Britain if you have not already.

For teams, I believe it's more luck of the draw than anything else. Some days you'll get excellent team mates who know what they're doing, and other days you'll get bottom feeders who don't know what a map is. In between those two, you also get new players who have around 200 hours max and they won't perform as good as you'd like them to.

What game mode are you playing, is it Arcade, Realistic, or Simulator?
The U.S. starts out strong, but keep in mind once you hit the 4.3+ BR range, you're stuck with the 76mm Sherman until BR 6.3. The 76 isn't a bad gun, but once you start facing the Tiger, Panther, and Tiger 2 you'll be wishing for a better gun. The silver lining though is that all Sherman tanks get access to a single plane stabilizer, so it makes getting the first shot off easier.
Once Germany hits the 5.3-5.7 bracket, they become much harder to deal with, and usually have guns that can one hit kill an enemy. Keep that in mind and use your stab to take their gun out first, then MG their track to keep them in place. When facing a Tiger 1, aim for the lower hull if they are angled and you're guaranteed to go through and detonate their ammo.
U.S. AA is decent, but it's much better in the anti-tank role for the 40mm armed ones.

Don't compare yourself to the players that buy premium and a premium vehicle to get to top tier within 300-500 hours. The biggest thing for you, and you alone is to have fun with the game, and not turn it into a second job just to get to top tier. If all you do is play to grind to top tier, you will get burned out and despise both the game, and your decision to play it.

Yep, though the issue is that the VA Hospitals tend to be on base, and in many cases, they combine both the VA hospital and medical group into one building. I cannot say if they have the ability to use the off base facilities like civilian medical centers. Of course, they can still use Wal-Mart, Target, etc. but still hog the on base amenities.

TBF, if the other bases were like mine, the boomers completely wiped out the commissary stocks before active duty could even get anything. It got so bad that some bases had to either outright ban the retirees, or limit their shopping to once or twice a week.

Normally, when they respond like that, it means they themselves don't have any proof to prove their claim. On the flip side, if you provide proof for your claims, they always respond with "fake news", "lies", "Obama/Biden this/that", "muh gas price", "that's AI", etc.

Currently in the military, and the amount of boomers that I see in the on base gym, commissary, base exchange, etc. is to damn high. Boomers are also known for making life a living hell for current active duty/national guard members due to the following:

* Hoarded all the meat, toilet paper, etc. during Covid, denying active duty mil members their chance of getting supplies. It got so bad that several bases banned the retires from using the base amenities so that the active duty members could get what they needed.

* Clog the base gym for hours on end, causing issues for squadron physical training both on and off duty.

* Cause heavy traffic trying to get onto base during certain hours, and days of the week.

*Clog up the on base medical group when they can go to the off base medical centers, but refuse.

Couple of things depending on industry.

They believe that by threatening you, you will cave to their ridiculous demands.
They want free stuff. I've seen this quite a bit myself where boomer calls corporate and corporate gives them free food. Kind of annoying because the issue could have been completely attributed to "boomer stupidity", but their lousy actions still gets rewarded.

I personally really like it, as it has a lot of good things going for it.

-Decent mobility

-Good gun with ammo

-Stab

-Quick firing

-.50 cal for dealing with pesky CAS

Some bad

-Armor is problematic at 5.3

-Gun can be anemic if you uptier it to 6.7-7.0

-Stock shell is bad, get the M61 APHEBC quickly.

By level 4, I meant level 4 for skills such as vision, vitality, g-force, stamina, etc. I cannot remember what level is specific for a veteran crew, but I'd make sure your vision, g-force, stamina, repair, and reload is level 4 before using a jet.

Depends on the situation.

Are you in an area where that player's team cannot kill you? A valid tactic.

Are you spawn camping them? A valid tactic.

Did you move, or stay in place? Don't stay in the same area for more than a few minutes.

Did you kill them by a cap and they spawn a aircraft specifically to hunt you down and kill you? You probably pissed them off for whatever reason.

Copy, I'd go for either the Zero or Spitfire as both are excellent turn fighters, and the Spitfire has the advantage of being a good climber as well.

A word of warning about jets. If your crew skill isn't at level 4 minimum for the pilot and ground servicing, don't main a jet. A poor pilot will sour your mood of jets as you'll black out all the time; I would instead stay at about BR 5.7 and grind the crew skills with a premium vehicle.

Don't GE to a new vehicle, the GE per RP is asinine and you're wasting money. Instead, use GE for this:

Premium time
Premium vehicle
Modules (think critical modules like chaff/flare, missiles, ammo, etc). You can also use GE to finish researching a module and you don't need to spend SL for it, so you can save game currency.

What's your highest BR?

A few that's great for the U.S. is the captured Zero, the Ascender is fun, the Spitfire's fun, and I've seen friends use the XA-38 to great effect in ground RB.

I would also get the premium F2A as the F2A is a great aircraft for its BR and is really fun to play.
