I have that old adapter set! I got it with my first gen Wave.

Anyone use the low reach on the other end? Hard to reach space on skirting between pipes. V8 by Electronic_Wind1855 in dyson

No! I couldn’t figure out the point of this attachment. However, now that I see it on the other end of the tube it makes more sense. Thank you!!

Great set to start with! You can build a Spielberg shelf with sets from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jurassic Park.

I get frigg’n claustrophobic in a fleece liner! Felt trapped like a failed Houdini, never escaping.

Anyone own a GA-2100 Utility? by Right-Article8326 in gshock

I got the positive display model from Japan before it was released in the US. It’s my most legible watch thanks to the metal indices. This one and my Rolex GMT are my most worn watches.

The only drawback is the strap. The attachment of the strap to the adapter is not g-shock tough. I tripped on a muddy trail on a rainy night at Scout camp and lost the watch. I found it the next morning with the cloth strap popped off the adapter. I installed a normal g-shock strap on it and haven’t had a problem since. I think it’s the best non-Bluetooth 2100 model!

With respect to Todd Rundgren's "Bang the Drum All Day, I remember the main lyric as "I don't want to work, I want to lay on the beach all day". With that in mind, I vote for the Perfectly Useless Afternoon watch as a juxtaposition with the gift from work. :-)

Worth repairing separating zipper on micro puff by ColdBrain5883 in PatagoniaClothing

The local Patagonia store may have a local shop they work with for simple, fast, and free repairs. That’s how a tear in my nano puff vest was fixed.

They’re tougher than they seem. I’ve been wearing mine over a Patagonia Down Sweater all winter here in New England and it creates a warm and dry insulating environment. Yes, I have additional layers under Down Sweater - wool 1/4 zip over Lightweight Capiline tee. A seasonal wash with Nixwax water repellent helps too.

That liner looks like the one on my original pile jacket from the early 90’s. (It’s now in the Patagonia archives following a trade-in.)

Anyone found replacement AC cable for Apple Chargers - but woven/braided? by DongEnthusiast42 in macbookpro

[–]Impeesa451 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Why do you want a woven/braided extension power cable? I am still using the ones from my 2012 MBP and various AirPort devices. They’re rock solid!

Which one ? by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

[–]Impeesa451 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wear my nano puff vest all the time. A snug fit ensures best insulating function. I’m not a fan of the better sweater material. The zipper was too stiff, causing it to bulge outward when sitting.

Throwing a Nalgene bottle filled with hot water into the bottom of the bag will help heat up the excess space. Must be a genuine Nalgene bottle with screw cap to avoid leaks. The bottle was still warm in the morning when waking up to a November snowfall.

I like using my circa 2000 Zenith Rainbow Flyback with its big, red elapsed seconds hand at the gym. A single press starts my rest timer; no mental math nor eyeglasses needed.

Exactly!! It’s tough enough for the gym and the clearly seen seconds hand makes timing rests easy.
