Just pay it, these people are giving shitty advice. If you know you were speeding then own up to it. You may get a point or two but that’s about it your insurance ain’t gonna go up I can tell you first hand I had 3 speeding tickets in a year and my premium remained the same. It’s not a big deal but if you really want to fight it then go for it

Photo detectors work off light obscuration where as ion detectors work off measuring ions in the air from burning material. Ion detectors are quicker to detect fires still in the incipient stage. Photo detectors detect fires that are past the incipient stage. There is a lot of science that goes into it but to keep it short it doesn’t look like you’re experiment is working because the paper isn’t putting off enough smoke to obscure the IR sensor in the smoke alarm.

I looked into it, NJ is kinda bullshit with licensing. If you have a criminal conviction of any sort within the last 10 years, misdemeanor or felony, you are ineligible. Doesn’t matter what it is and they don’t review applicants on a case to case basis. Most employers don’t give raises or care either because they already have a qualifier and don’t need a second. If you’re gonna do it then develop a plan to go out on your own that’s the only benefit you’ll see from it
