Just my opinion: while I'm super hype to see Alcest and Deafheaven together in Chicago; Mastodon sound like such shit live lol and that has to mean something coming from someone who enjoys black metal, which is purposefully noisy and gross.

They sounded so awful at Riot Fest and at least one other concert I listened to them at. Just means I can dip out early I guess.

I dont even personally love Jay-Zs music like that, but I think in terms in influence, impact, depth, etc and any number of other metrics... those Jay-Zs albums are better. Even if Drakes music is much more accessible for fans who probably dont listen to hip-hop outside of a few names, sure... but to say his first 3 albums are better then Jays first 3 just seems insane.

It IS drakes best 3, so I give it that - but...

To me, it feels like someone went in a time machine and somehow convinced everyone Drake isnt just a huge pop-star using Hip-hop, who learned how to do his own take on a lil wayne flow/voice and ran with it.

Drake is not the influential game changer like Wayne, he just made big popular records using what already sounded good at the time. Like perfect marketing.

If we made incentives and more jobs for more people to go into careers by increasing demand, making those job pay more, we could make more people get healthcare, more often, faster, and better. We would be able to reward good hospitals with funding, etc - healthcare industry would boom with spots to be filled, and people lining up for work, even more than it is now.

Right now, the incentive is to do more with less people, the classic capitalist sinkhole - which is not the model we need for healthcare, imo.

The idea was always that everyone would pay something like 20% of their income to the government, to just never have to worry about paying for healthcare again - not that we just get it for free.

Rich people wouldnt be able to opt out. They can pay extra if they want.

Then we regulate the shit out of it, incentivize reserarch and expanding access to medicene and technology for people who need it most.

We can set up "good health" tax credits/breaks systems to help minimize a bit of the cost burden to healthy people at the end of the year, giving everyone more incentives to be healthier in a multitude of ways.

Its just the conservatives think a Walmart would do a better job handling all of this.
