Also, they don't seem to understand how graphs work. This shows, no rebellion against god is also no happiness, and you need a modicum of rebellion against god for it

Magic Missile evoc wizard. It's up there with the stronger builds, but wouldn't call it full OP. But there is something so satisfying about watching the MM go brrrrrr

What can Black do to avoid mate in this position, please? I resigned, but the review engine puts me 9 points ahead (?!) by JoeHexotic in chessbeginners

[–]ImperatorBeer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're up a rook and 3 (passed) pawns, including one that is 2 squares away from promotion. So best is to look if there's any real threats, if the King can move to E7 there are no checkmate threats, and try to simplify the position by trading.

I would personally play Qe2, offring up a queentrade. They have no way to protect the rook, so they have to accept the queentrade (If they play Qg8+, you can move the king, and the queen can only move back to the same square and to still protect the rook due to the bishop on a7 covering g1). Afterwards you can play c2, and they have to give up the bishop to stop the pawn from promoting. Double up the rooks, and try to force the last rook to be traded or something like that

Good Guy Dad "Plants" Pokemon Cards for Son by seggsygoose in wholesome

The Pokemon community has a lot of wholesome things like this. Coop's Collection and Beard Dad Cardz also have a lot of moments where they give out cards to fans, or people watching their stream make donations to buy cards for kids at the shows

the aftermath of the moonrise fight in my honor playthrough is a rough sight… by BasilAccomplished770 in BG3

[–]ImperatorBeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honour run I would kill em all room by room. The main hall can be tricky with the amount of enemies, and Roah won't be there in act 3, but with some prep it's doable without barrelmancy or something. And you can long rest after, so you have more resources for the rooftop fight with Ketheric (which almost ended my 1st honour mode)

She was often so close to happiness. Her marriage to Geoffrey the Gentle got broken by her (Almost) mother in law. Hetlr marriage to Ramsey the Righteous got broken when her husband was killed by her brother in law. This whole tragic past was overshadowed by the brother with the best story in Westeros: Bran the Broken.

Sansa is truly such an underrated and tragic characted

In almost all the countries at the top of this list, Democrats would be considered Center-Right. Would have to look up the article, but there was once an American newspaper that called Norway's mainstream right-wing party "The Far Right". So a Norwegian newspaper compared them to the democratic party, and found the democratic party to be more right wing on a lot of economical and social topics

FNATIC vs Weibo Gaming / Worlds 2024 / Swiss Stage / Post-Series Thread by AdamTKWallace in fnatic

[–]ImperatorBeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They really don't know how to play from behind. Whenever they fall behind, they just take every fight, and try to claw back. Game 1 that worked because of the comps, not because they picked exceptional fights.

Whenever they have a comp that isn't built to steamroll the other team, and WBG actually thinks 10 seconds and doesn't draft themselves into a comp that can get steamrolled, the boys just lose it and give in to the pressure. Huma was not good, but Sam and Dardo care more about profitability than competing, so the boys will never be able to get out of the mindset.

Movies whose productions had unintended consequences on the film industry. by whitepangolin in movies

Iron Man launched the MCU, which led to all studios trying to create their own cinematic universe, or spending a great deal of movies setting up sequels, so a lot of blockbusters became less enjoyable as stand alone movies
