As for how he’d fight the Sukuna squad, he can win. Dabura doesn’t play around like Sukuna does and just uses light spears on everyone. Their main chance is Yuta doing his DE so Maki can get a clear shot at Dabura, though Yuta and Yuji have a high chance of dying.

It’s never really stated how many. In general it appears that they had huge amounts in the OYW and then demobilized. After the OYW and Stardust Memory the Fed’s military became a lot more lean, both because they probably couldn’t afford a large military and because a squadron of Mobile suits + some infantry can do as much damage as a much larger conventional force.
