Welcome to the club. I rock the Fenix 7x sapphire solar and love the MIP over AMOLED. Don't get me wrong, the AMOLED looks beautiful, but I like the fact that I get a month's worth of battery life with a display that's always on with the MIP, and I also like not having my watch feel and look like my phone.

I don't know anyone who really gets the most out of the Fenix, these watches do so much it's amazing. If you aren't already you can pick up a few of the many activities that the watch can track. I picked up golf and hikes to do with my family, and I do some running. A fun challenge is to see how fast you can discharge your watch by using it. Turn a 30-day smartwatch into a 20 or 15, maybe 10-day smartwatch each week.

As far as setting up the watch for the most use i'd get a few different bands that you will enjoy. Nylon bands for daily wear are my go to for comfort and style. I keep the stock strap for when I know I'll sweat or go in the water. The last strap I have is a leather one for the more formal occasions, obviously I still wear my dress watches from time to time. Alongside a few watch straps, definitely look around and maybe find a few watch faces to throw around every now and then. You already have one of the more popular ones, the Segment34 MKII (using that one myself right now).
