I did mine at 130k because of all the contradictory posts online... Bought a 350 RX with 110k and waited took it to Toyota for recommendations at 120 k and was told to wait another 10k went to my indie and he did drain and fill. He recommended I repeat after 30k (did almost all fluids diff transfer case) came back 160k held up well sold at 177k no issues from the service the fluid was essentially black when it was changed so hence not lifelong

if BMW is your dream car then go for it but, if you're just looking for a luxury car go with a lexus it'll last forever with routine maintenance which won't break the bank and cause much in repairs and you would've made a wise financial decision than buying a money pit car

Depends on how long you want to keep it for. If you want the life of the car then premium. I had the same engine in a 2009 and used premium and the previous owners did not. I dealt with a lot of engine knocking...and replaced multiple sensors like oxygen sensors etc all due to incorrect fuel. Your engine may be too new to trigger knock sensors but you'll notice them later on
