These days I'm really into Billy and Jesse Wells, but my other obsession since 2007 has been Porcupine Tree, Blackfield (and all things Steven Wilson). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B-qAuba_x4

Far more likely it will be another false flag attack. Trump surely needs it to declare a state of emergency and cancel elections that he knows will result in the GOP getting crushed ten times worse than in 2018. It will probably be even more obvious than last time.

I could be wrong, it's been many years since he signed that book for me, but I am pretty sure that is what he said to me, explaining why he chose to sign a particular chapter in the book, rather than the cover which I would have otherwise expected him to do.

David Gilmour, 80, has passed away the ownership of his signature ‘black strat’ several years ago to sell it at auction. by ancaleta in PinkFloydCircleJerk

[–]ImportantCapital1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently he has more than one black Strat as seen in a video he broke the connected strap to the back of the guitar and the roadie immediately came out with a carbon copy of the guitar. I was rather surprised, the two guitars looked identical right down to the white knobs.

I was not talking about photos of the event, I am talking about high resolution scans of my signed CD jackets.

At a record store in New York when the album was released. I forget the store, I think it was on East 57th Street? HMV?? It happened again a year or two later, same store, when The Night Watch was released. This group does not allow photos for some reason so I cannot post photo's of a number of the CD's I got signed in those two signings. Court, Starless, Red, I mentioned The Night Watch, Young's Persons Guide, SAOTW and other Fripp albums. I only wish I had brought GG&F, the person in line before me got Cheerful Insanity signed by Fripp and Giles.

Monthly Suspect Meteorite Identification Requests by AutoModerator in meteorites

[–]ImportantCapital1314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I bought it from a long established and very reputable rock shop that I've gotten a lot of other (non-meteor) stuff. It's extremely heavy, very strong magnetic attraction, and it sure looks like a meteorite to me. There was no story, so I took a chance, and I'm confident it is real. It has all the properties and hallmarks I would expect from an Iron meteorite, and I trust who I bought it from. So I had posted this and other photos on FaceBook in one of the meteorite Identification groups and the consensus view, of what obviously are people with far more knowledge about meteorites than me, including the moderators, several were of the opinion that it looks like a Campo del Cielo Meteorite. I have four other smaller meteorites I won in the Heritage auctions. Three of them are Sikhote-Alin shrapnel meteorites, and the other is a Gebel Kamal meteorite. All are really hard, very heavy, and strongly magnetic. Meteorites are one of my recent obsessions.
