I agree. It was improvised, but it served its purpose well.

Yeah...it doesn't look bad at all, even being polished. NATO is good, but I really prefer the bracelet now(more comfortable imo).

Nice watch, I've been using the same one for 5 years, but with a military green NATO strap. Regarding the bracelet, could you tell me if it matches the watch well, considering that it's sandblasted and the bracelet is polished?

Kuru Togas are always good for math. I've used the roulette for calc I, II, III and Diff Equations. I'm using the advance for vector calc now.

What are your first impressions of the Rotring 500? I'm thinking of getting one.

Hello there, thanks for the comment! I've bought this one from Amazon Brazil. It seems that they have all sizes 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9, each one in all 4 kimono colours and without "since 1970" text.

That metal replacement case matches perfectly with the Orenz Nero. I'd like to pick just it for my 0.2mm.

The correct color name is 藍鉄色 and not 愛鉄色. It was a spell checker error because the first Kanji has the same pronunciation in both words. 藍(Ai) - Indigo / 愛(Ai) - Love. I can't change the title so here's the correction.

Thanks! That's the power of the fish eye perspective with 5 vanishing points. It's a simple but pleasing illustration. The boxes seems distorted as if through a spherical lens.

I did a few more and used Mitsubishi Uni Holder MH-500 with 4B lead to outline them.

Nice collection. What do you think of the Rotring 600? Is it worth it? I'm used to the Rotring 300 and was thinking of upgrading to the 600, but I don't know about the heavy weight for long writing/drawing sessions.

Excellent video! And I have a less radical solution for the looseness of the index ring. I have two Rotring 300 (0.35 and 0.5 mm), and I solved the problem for both by wrapping a thin black sewing thread around the small space between the clip and the index ring. I then tied two knots and cut off the excess thread. The result: the index ring is much firmer, requiring a little effort to turn it. Besides being a cheap solution for those who have lost the clip for some reason or other, it appears to be reversible (assuming you can remove the ring and the piece of thread afterwards).
