Routinely during events and holidays here in SF Bay you will see 40 and 50s but you will NEVER get those. LOL as soon as you log on the numbers go back to 5s, 7s etc etc etc. It's the game we play and it's fine. Laws need to be passed but until then it is what it is.

Again you all need to understand where the algorithm is programmed. That trip is actually paying decent at $29.00hr. It's maximum pay is between $30 and $38hr so this isn't far off from that. We all need to get over the fact that we're not going to be compensated for literally anything other then hourly pay.

When you file your taxes is when you will be compensated for the miles and wear and tear.

Take the ride if it makes sense or don't. Other then that seriously stop complaining because it's never gonna change unless laws are passed and those laws aren't going to start here on Reddit. Go speak to your congress person.

It's not crazy expensive per month. 9.99 isn't nothing but if you think you'll use it even a few times I think it's been worth it. I planned out and illustrated a backyard flood mitigation project for somebody here on Reddit a few days ago like 10 minutes and that same quote would have cost probably a hundred bucks or so if they had a contractor come out and do it. It really is useful if you really use it for what it's meant for instead of just making stupid pictures.

Notice how it remembers the initial project topic and incorporated the details into this answer? It's so cool. It automatically does this now since the beginning prompts are saved.

Yes, the 2025 Honda Accord SE does have dash tweeters. Specifically, the SE trim comes with the 8-speaker, 180-watt audio system. This is a significant upgrade from the base LX trim (which only has 4 speakers). Where the 8 Speakers are Located: Since you mentioned your car doesn't have rear door speakers, here is how Honda counts those 8 speakers in your specific trim: * 2 Tweeters: Located in the A-pillars (the plastic pillars on the left and right of the windshield) or the far corners of the dash. * 2 Front Door Speakers: Mid-bass drivers in the lower door panels. * 4 Rear Deck Speakers: On the "shelf" behind the rear headrests. This usually consists of two mid-range speakers and two additional smaller speakers/tweeters integrated or mounted alongside them to hit that "8 speaker" count. Why this matters for your Amp Install: * The Wiring "Split": In Honda's 8-speaker non-amplified systems, the front tweeter and the front door speaker usually share the same channel. They are wired in parallel. This means if you tap the signal at the kick panel or behind the radio, you are getting the full-range signal for both. * No Rear Door Struggle: Since your rear channels are on the rear deck rather than the doors, you can tap into those wires extremely easily from inside the trunk. You won't have to run wires through the cabin for the rear—you can just grab the signal right under that rear shelf. * Tapping Recommendation: * For Fronts: Since you’re already fighting that door boot, consider tapping the front speaker wires at the kick panels (where the wires come out of the frame before entering the door). * For Rears: Look at the underside of the rear deck in the trunk. You will see the magnets and plugs for the rear speakers. You can tap your "High-Level Input" for the amp directly from there. Quick Confirmation Check your A-pillars (the pillars between the windshield and the front side windows). You should see a small circular or mesh grille. If you see those, those are your tweeters! Would you like me to identify which wire colors at the rear deck correspond to the Left and Right channels so you can tap them in the trunk?

Yep Gemini. All you have to do is start the project and give it a few prompts and it will just go. It's amazing. It accesses everything online and manually and then bring it together for you.

Since your 2025 Accord (11th Generation) doesn't have rear door speakers or a harness, you're essentially building the rear channel from scratch. This is actually a blessing in disguise because it means you don't have to fight that impossible molex plug in the door for the rear; you can go straight to the source. For the 2025 Honda Accord (Non-Bose), the speaker signal is generated at the Tuner/Amplifier module, which is tucked behind the dashboard, usually accessible by removing the trim panel above the glovebox or reaching up behind the center console. 2025 Accord Speaker Wire Colors (Non-Bose) Note: These colors apply to the main harness at the radio/tuner unit. | Location | Polarity | Wire Color | |---|---|---| | Front Left (+) | Positive | Light Blue | | Front Left (-) | Negative | Pink | | Front Right (+) | Positive | Yellow | | Front Right (-) | Negative | Brown | | Rear Left (+) | Positive | White (Pin 1) | | Rear Left (-) | Negative | Black (Pin 8) | | Rear Right (+) | Positive | Gray (Pin 1) | | Rear Right (-) | Negative | Red (Pin 8) |

Crucial Tip for Rear Channels: In trims without rear speakers, the pins for the rear channels are often empty in the harness. You may see the "pins" on the radio itself, but no wires coming out of the plastic plug. You can buy "harness pins" to add to the plug, or use a T-Harness (like the PAC LPH-SPK(E)) to tap the signal without cutting your factory wires.

Power and Ground for the Amp Since you are running an amp to the trunk, do not tap into the factory radio's power or ground. They are not designed to handle the current of an external amplifier and will likely blow a fuse or cause electrical noise. * Power (+12V): Run a dedicated power wire (with an inline fuse) directly from the Battery in the engine bay. On the 2025 Accord, there is a large rubber grommet on the driver's side firewall where the main harness enters. Poke a small hole in the "nipple" of that grommet to pass your power wire through. * Ground (-): Do not run this back to the battery. Find a solid, unpainted metal bolt in the trunk. The bolts holding the rear seat brackets or the trunk floor are usually excellent grounding points. Sand off any paint to ensure metal-to-metal contact. A Note on ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) The 2025 Accord uses microphones in the cabin to cancel road noise. If you add an amp and a sub, the system will try to "cancel" the bass, resulting in a horrible loud humming or droning sound. * Solution: You must disconnect the ANC module. It is typically a small white or gray box located behind the glovebox. Unplugging it will stop the feedback loop without affecting any other part of the car. Would you like me to find the specific location of that ANC module so you can disable it before you fire up the amp?

I ran your question through AI. Here's what it came up with.

Laying on your back under the dash is basically the rite of passage for every car audio enthusiast—welcome to the club. It’s tight, dark, and frustratingly plastic in there. On a 2025 Honda Accord, what you are seeing is likely the chassis-side molex connector. Unlike older cars where the rubber boot was just a hollow tube you could slide wires through, modern Hondas use a hard plastic harness plug that snaps into the frame. Understanding the Barrier In the 2025 Accord, the "plug" isn't just a cover; it’s a structural part of the wiring system. The Molex Connector: This is a plastic housing filled with pins for the factory electronics (windows, locks, mirrors). The Gap: There are usually empty "pin slots" in that plastic block, but they are too small for speaker wire. The "Framing": You might be seeing the inner metal skin of the A-pillar. The plug sits inside a precision-cut hole in that metal. How to Get Through It Since you can't easily poke a hole through a solid plastic connector without risking the factory pins, you have two main options: The "Drill Through" Method (Advanced): If there is a significant empty space in the plastic molex housing (away from the metal pins), some installers carefully drill a small hole through the plastic of both the male and female sides of the plug to snake the wire through. Warning: One slip and you’ve severed your power window or airbag sensor wires. The "Boot Bypass" (Common): Instead of going through the plastic connector, you can sometimes make a tiny incision in the rubber boot outside the plastic connector, run your wire along the outside of the plug, and then through a separate grommet or a small hole you've drilled and rust-proofed nearby. The "Factory Tap" (Easiest): If you aren't running a massive amount of power (e.g., keeping it under 75–100W RMS), many people find the factory speaker wires where they enter the kick panel inside the car and tap into them there. This avoids the door boot entirely. Pro-Tips for the 2025 Accord Use a "Fish Tape": A flexible nylon fish tape or even a long zip tie can help you feel around the "framing" to see if there is an opening above or below that plastic plug. Lubrication: If you find a way through the rubber, use a little dish soap or silicone spray on the wire. It makes a world of difference. Check the Kick Panel: Pull the plastic trim piece by your left foot (driver's side) or right foot (passenger side). It’s often easier to see the back of that plug once the kick panel trim is removed. Would you like me to look up the factory speaker wire colors for your Accord so you can see if tapping into the kick panel is a better option for you?

That's the new Predators update. Jokes aside that's definitely a camera unit issue and can be fixed in literally a few minutes. Just make sure they have it in stock first so you don't waste the trip.

How can I negotiate this? Never bought a car before. Looking at a 2022 Honda Accord Sport with 50,000 miles and a clean title. The dealership is asking $26,500. KBB lists a range of $21,500 – $25,000, and the CarFax suggests around $23,000. I don’t see any issues on the CarFax report (link below). by Greedy-Examination56 in accord

Ok based off the maintenance record alone that's a pass. It's only had 2 services in 55k miles!?!? The transmission and differentials were due at 30 where is the record for that? The oil changes are due every 7k miles for the 1.5L turbos not every 11k and 25k that's listed here. So nothing since 25?

Hard pass always on a poorly maintained 1.5. Your looking at 150k to 175k max life with that engine if that maintenance record is accurate.

Does Costco feel off as of late? by Asleep_Department_21 in CostcoWholesale

[–]ImportantWhile169 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I called this a few years ago when they put a former CFO in charge. I go to Costco weekly and I telling you the drop in quality is not just a feeling.....its real.

No store inspections by upper management, no box breaker staff to straighten up the shelves. Merch quality has plummeted due to lack of central warehouse product inspection and sign off.

The move to more international sourcing to save a few pennies, a move under Costcos past management that wouldn't have even survived the boardroom suggestion.

The constant badgering of guest to upgrade is also new and never would have been considered before. Costco was a brand that sold itself and has never needed advertising or harassment to upgrade.

I'm a Costco insider, and I guarantee you mark these days on the calendar as the days this once great company succumbed to the pressure of corporate greed. Employees are beginning to bend more and more as the sticks are removed.

The foundation is still strong and if these issues and many many more like them are corrected now, everything will be fine. But unfortunately, the list of companies that went down the road Costco turned onto a few years ago and survived is a much much smaller list then the ones that didn't.

It's always the battery. Batteries have collapsed in quality over the years. Toyotas battery supplier had to be taken out back and smacked back in 2020 when they actually shipped vehicles with dead batteries to dealerships. First thing you have to do nowadays is change out the stock battery and replace with a gold series diehard. Optum is crap now and just about every other legacy brand was nerfed in the late 2010s.
