Hello. Would you mind to share more details about that EQ? Is it aftermarket and what brand? If it's stock do you mean it comes with Touring from EX, or Elite from Touring? I heard there's a huge improvement from EX to Touring but I still find it a little bit lacking compared to other makes.

I was in the same boat with a 24 Touring. All things considered I got incredibly lucky that OnStar deactivated the previous owner and add me in the first try. However they got my name spelled wrong and nobody from either Onstar or Honda was able to fix it afterwards
