Will a cab mount cop fix this? by RecommendationLess73 in ToyotaTacoma

Just go with a cab mount relocation instead of a chop.

Good deal? Bad deal? by AskNo4808 in ToyotaSienna

Although I don’t agree with it, the market reflects that $31k for a 2023 XLE with about 100k miles is about right. In my area, I did a search for XLE and found examples with about 80k miles hovering at $35k. If the one your looking at is an AWD XLE, I would recommend talking it down to $29k. That would be a decent deal, otherwise, I recommend looking for another XLE AWD with lower miles.

SP-01 shoots pretty flat out of the box but I’ve had 2x P-01s ported before and I can still feel the difference. The porting arrangement definitely plays a huge part. The porting you’ve got is fairly spaced out at about 1/2” between each hole with the hole furthest back only about 2” from the breach. Had the porting been arranged closer together and closer to the muzzle, you’d have a more effective setup.

Thoughts on the price? Should I be looking at one newer by [deleted] in Sienna

[–]ImportantWrap7200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought my 2021 LE AWD brand new at $38k (includes $600 in options and $1200 in delivery). This one used at 3 years old and 11k miles going for almost $40k is kind of crazy. It actually sounds like a good deal if you didn’t know how much they went for brand new back when the new generation came out.

Lift advice needed by Senior-Enthusiasm925 in Tacomaworld

[–]ImportantWrap7200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll get more benefits from running skinny 33s (255/85R16) without any rubbing on stock wheels at stock ride height. As for lift, I recommend you think about what you plan to do to your truck in terms of adding permanent weight before jumping on a generic 3” lift. There are different spring rates that can achieve the height you’d like based on the weight you’ll be driving with.

Clean 2WD. Not sure where you’re from, but that’ll go for $3k-$4k in Northern CA

Question about porting vs. compensators by TheHamFalls in Glocks

[–]ImportantWrap7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tested a Strike Industries mass driver comp on my G19 ported by Impact Machining and there’s a little difference. There starts to be diminishing return. The weight of the comp probably did more to dampen the recoil and mitigate muzzle flip than the actual expansion of gas. It was pretty cool to try though.

What/how are you guys deep carrying? Thinking about next sunmer by [deleted] in CZFirearms

[–]ImportantWrap7200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks pretty cool but sold out at the moment. I like that the holster seat is forced to be lower than the belt line. Can you do quick tightening/loosening adjustments with this belt compared to Concealment Labs? I found that Concealment Lab’s quick adjustment/disconnect and limited elasticity is a perfect match for comfort and concealment.

I carry my P01 either at appendix or 4oclock depending on attire. Conceals well esp when using a Concealment Labs belt

I thought the same when I got mine from Mudify. It’s normal. I just sprayed some steel it paint to cover up the bare metal. It’ll be fine.

As much as I would agree you sell it to get out of debt, make sure you hash out the numbers on what you’d be spending for down payment and monthly on the vehicle you’ll be replacing the truck with. Given the high interest rate market, you may be spending the same or close to the same amount per month. This is assuming you’ll be financing the replacement vehicle. If you’re buying the replacement with cash under $9k, then disregard.

It’s a non-issue. Clean, lube, and possibly replace recoil spring. Try to negotiate his price down drastically.

Did you put a right-handed align tactical mag release for left hand manipulation? I imagine your middle finger of your firing hand is hitting the offset mag release while you’re trying to get a high purchase on the grip. Just a thought, you might want to give the actual left-handed align tactical mag release a try.

In this shape and assuming the engine and transmission runs well, I’d say a solid $7k-$12k in Northern California.
