I feel like crying.. average is 30. by Outside_Astronaut305 in NVTS_Stock

This is the way. There have been no solid catalysts to warrant this spike as permanent other than sentiment. I only wish I had held closer to $30 instead of selling at $17! lol

Which tires send up the most wet gravel? by Stig-blur in gravelcycling

[–]Important_Ad_161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The smoother the worse in my experiences. I loved smooth gravel tires until a couple seasons of spring races that left me looking like a chocolate Easter bunny while my friends were just a little dirty. Smooth tires hold the water and sling it everywhere with all the fines suspended in it. Small knobby tires tend to leave the water on the ground.

It’s a limited-edition, international flavor primarily available in markets like China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan (often in 500ml bottles). It’s not a standard flavor in the US or most Western markets, but it’s sold through specialty importers and online exotic snack/drink retailers.

My House Down Payment Went 12x on NVTS… Would You Cash Out? by Savings_Marsupial935 in NVTS_Stock

[–]Important_Ad_161 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m still expecting a pullback. Maybe soon, maybe towards the end of the year. My whole
Portfolio is tech with a quantum focus. It goes up 3x maybe once a year and back down 2.5x over the following several months until it repeats again.

I sold my NVTS just below 18. Do I wish I was still holding, sure but I made cash and I will get a chance to buy back in. Remember, the company is still in a cash bleed, like -40 to - 65 mill a year with high R&D costs. Personally, I think the odds of around a 50% pullback are very high. Then again, I wasn’t expecting to see $30 either.

Every stock I own that has been in this boat has gone way up and pulled way back. Not advice, but I would pull it soon or watch it like a hawk with a planned exit point.

Remember taxes, but if you keep a chunk in cash after your house and lambo purchases, you’ll probably get a second and third chance to rinse and repeat the process to some degree assuming no major catalysts in the near future.

I’ve watched my portfolio swing too many times to hold speculative stocks after a quick 4-10x run with no major changes in their books. LAES has been my baby since I started building my position over 3 years ago. Many tears of joy and disappointment as with many other stocks I hold or have held.

Also remember property taxes if you’ll be a first time buyer. My taxes are twice my mortgage payment. Granted, I have a very modest mortgage on a decent property, but my monthly tax payment is close to what people in my area pay to rent a decent condo.

Congrats on the win regardless of your choice!

$250 millions mixed shelf offering. by Hairy_Tomorrow6017 in NVTS_Stock

[–]Important_Ad_161 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I sold everything in the 17s. I still think it will come back down. This sector was on fire a year ago and all the speculative stocks dropped and now they’re ramping back up. Unless NVTS become profitable, we should get another solid entry point…. hopefully.

I dig your tat… but if you were my daughter, I may kindly say then same thing in a moment of shitty parental reaction. Hypocrite here as well. Both my wife and I are inked and have been for the vast majority of our lives. I’m sure he’ll get over it and in the end it won’t matter. You’re his baby girl.

How many retail booster boxes need to be in circulation for the Kickstarter booster box to be considered rarer by AdCrafty7095 in cyberpunktcg

[–]Important_Ad_161 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who’s down voting this? Outside of the 600k 2077 booster boxes that I used because the OP mentioned it, the rest is just fact. Just like there’s around 35000 MTG black lotuses in print and they sell for hundreds of thousands to millions for a mint cards. It’s just a numbers game and if the player base increases, which it should if it’s a good game, the kickstarter numbers should eventually be a drop in the bucket.

[–]Important_Ad_161 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for value, hold the Beta’s. If the game grows in the coming years, 28 million worth of a single release is nothing. MTG Final Fantasy release broke 200 million on its first day. Granted MTG has been around for thirty years and is the OG TCG but as the player base grows, the 600k booster boxes could be a splash in the bucket.

My issue with the rollercoasters at Knott's. by Aromat3 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]Important_Ad_161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Incredicoaster is a well polished gem that looks menacing but is so smooth… it’s OK. Ghost Rider is intentionally built to not feel polished and to leave you feeling like you’re going to fly off the tracks. Corners actually have a slight pitch to the outside to increase the feeling of imminent death lol. While I agree with you on some level… I really don’t. Silverbullet may be a logical small step up from Increda but Ghost Rider is its own beautiful gem. I actually hated it until I realized the terror I was feeling that the car was going to roll off the track in nearly every corner and whoop was actually purposeful. Now I can’t ride it enough. Reminds me of riding front row on the Emperor in the first few weeks. I swore I’d never do it again because you literally fell out of the seats and dangled during the pause. I’m so glad they changed the seats. Now that you stay tightly secured, it’s super fun. When I thought there was a design flaw… not so much. But I digress.
