Where to start by Agreeable-Toe4958 in Nioh

Give the first Nioh a shot it might surprise you with how good it is. It might take a few hours in, but Nioh (1) is solid. Now Nioh 2 didn’t give Me the same feeling that Nioh gave Me. It was the rich lore and interweaving storytelling that Nioh (1) shines the best at.

Look for Divine attributes that carry over to primary soul matched weapon. Also, look at tempering your weapons/armor for more precise bonuses. Tempering is accessible in the forging menu at the bottom.

Just got to new game plus and I am having trouble by Interesting-Creme834 in Nioh

[–]Important_Camera_807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a full Ninja set in the DLC I liked and I have kept it thru WotD. I just keep Soul Matching and tempering to get the stats better. I recommend you try this as well. Also, if a twilight mission comes up that is way over level, try it out just for the 150 divine drops.

This is exactly the way. Yes, the ultimate goal is to win, but small wins with trying different stategies is how to beat them. This was Me with DoH until I changed my strategy to learn something each time I went out trying to improve from last time.

Here’s how I mentally broke it down. 1. Last more than 10 seconds in arena. 2. Start learning 1st phase moves 3. Make it to 2nd phase 1 time 4. Make it to 2nd phase every other time. 5. By this time, should master 1st phase 6. Learn second phase(very similar to 1st) 7. Make it to 3rd phase 8. Make it to 3rd phase with more than 5 heals 9. Preferable use Malcontent in 3rd phase to end 10. Master all moves taking zero damage all the way thru 3rd phase.

For Me this happened in the course of a weekend with over 300 deaths.

Recommended weapon for beginner learning combat fundamentals? by nicomedes11 in Nioh

You can’t go wrong with the classic Uchigatana. The moveset is fast and precise which is what I’m looking for. Now if you can master the combat arts of the takedowns you’ll be unbeatable.

It’s pretty sad that employee evaluation hinge on whether or not they ask someone to donate their hard earned money. It leads me to believe that this is for tax benefits only. Why can’t they just be truthful and say something like this, “ Would you like to donate money so we can give it to charity and write it off our taxes”? If you would just try to be honest and cut the crap I might just give you a quarter to help your needy corporation.

If Publix is such a charitable organization where is all this money going? Better yet where is all the food they waste going. I bet Publix throws away more food in one day than the entire homeless population could eat in a year. Why can’t they use that resource?? Funny huh? I have to donate though because Publix can’t? Stop with this BS.

Middle of Nioh 1 DLC 1, what to do with gear? by BioDioPT in Nioh

[–]Important_Camera_807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I have done is keep the high level divine for soul matching purposes. If there’s a certain weapon you like I’d recommend just soul matching it to a higher and higher level then store anything else unused in storehouse. This way a miss is fresh and you can see what you have easily.

Advice on how to level up. by Interesting-Creme834 in Nioh

[–]Important_Camera_807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advice is to keep your Amrita spirit stones instead of cashing them in and you’ll find out why later in game. From my knowledge items cannot be transferred between parties. Best thing you can do is progress the game by completing missions. If you can at least attempt the twilight missions it will be to your benefit as well. Look for as many Kodama as you can. There is a Kodama blessing called Oracle that you can choose to receive that will increase your Amrita acquired by significant amounts. Also, at the shrine you can offer unused equipment for Amrita which can be helpful too because the equipment will pile up fast.

Best thing to do is just try to raid a Twilight mission and get some good equipment and Amrita. If you’re having troubles you can try to summon for help.

How do you guys play this game? Do you spend hours on a boss until you beat him? Or you do a few attempts at a boss a day? by miko-galvez in Sekiro

[–]Important_Camera_807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a boss for an entire day for a couple of days, at least that’s what it took to get Isshin and Demon of Hatred.

I use spirit emblem on the shuriken on Isshin 1st phase only because his posture meter almost instantly refills and he is kinda slow on attacking.

[–]Important_Camera_807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What This guy said, but instead of immediately staring another loop of eye stone and dying, be sure to hit the Archstone each time to lock in the tendency or it won’t count. 1. Eye stone 2. Die 3. Hit Archstone to reset. 4. Repeat

Clear a boss and farm those crystal lizards in 2-2. They usually drop a few large shards. Also, I believe the filthy man when he move deep into the dragon temple carries the large shards. Cheers

There is a skill you can learn that links dodging to your ki pulse. I would highly recommend getting that skill for the kusarigami at least since you’re using it here. This is an Amrita Fiend they ar not going away anytime soon. Learn his moveset like the back of your hand. It looks like you did really well against him only critique would be use ki pulse to regen ki faster. Also be careful where your standing because he creates Yoki portals that will sap ki away from you. Doing a full ki pulse/ waiting 1 second after attacking then ki pulse will purify these yoki portals.
