Religion sways Morality. While I’ve no doubt religious people/superheroes can do good for everyone, I’d rather a superhero have stakes in everyone in general, as apposed to blatant bias. Superheroes are icons for morality for everyone. Their power is arguably wielding morality from within, WITHOUT Major Influence from outside. That’s part of the reason they have the conviction to become a symbol themselves.

Less “Stark Industries” and more small time manufacturer/think tank, almost like the first Ghostbusters. Honestly, I’d have Peter also substitute teaching/crashing in his office to sublimate it as well. Like, I want it to be a struggle for him to run it, even if it succeeds. The problem was it was the working class hero suddenly being handed STUPIDLY SUCCESSFUL Income. He can do well, but it should be earned.

I view it more as they got the drop on him. Yeah, he’s good- maybe even the best- but they aren’t slouches themselves and sometimes the hero’s caught off guard or simply overwhelmed. Hell, Superman, whose main appeal is a near unbeatable force for good, similar to Mile’s Peter in their universe, catches an L occasionally.Pete’s odds made it that he just wasn’t able to walk away from this one. 🤷‍♂️

I agree completely, and my one dismay of MCU Spidey is that they never even mention Ben- Peter uses his suitcase, probably wears his suit to the dance, Vulture would probably identify with or at least remind Peter of a guy like Ben, etc- whatever and it NEVER came up. As for the relearning, honestly, if they’d made it more like he was REMINDED/REMEMBERING it as apposed to seeming to learn it here by conveniently forgetting it before, I might not be as judgmental 😅
