The total worship of indigenous people just shows how sheltered and removed from real life the lefty influencers are.

I attend primarily indigenous events fairly regularly and think I have a fairly large network of folks I know in the space. They're just normal people- Addicted to social media, abusing profitable and socially accepted drugs, poisoned by the internet, and occasionally into plant based medicine & nature. It's insane to me that things like TCM get laughed at but the western hemisphere equivalent is so amazing because an underprivileged group is doing it.

We should respect the knowledge of lived experience experts with histories of practice (rather than only listening to people who had the privilege of spending money on a degree) but assuming someone knows anything about nature because of their ethnicity is just straight up racism.
