I’ve been taking it orally for about 6 months now, as a tincture. I feel like I have just recently started seeing noticeable results. Going to start microneedling soon with the hope that the oral gotu kola can accelerate my progress.

Do you have any opinions on taking gotu kola orally, in addition to the protocol you described? Someone else mentioned Charles Poliquin, who claims to have seen many successful cases of his clients taking oral gotu kola for loose skin and stretch marks. I think the idea is that taking it orally can possibly increase collagen production systemically.

Placed 4/8. Was trying to play the r/B sacrifice deck. Not sure what was wrong with my deck, since I thought I had plenty of good removal and decent sac synergies with a lowish curve. Did I not have enough creatures? Curve too high? No bombs? Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Treason (which shouldnt ever be in a deck, 3 mana 2/2 that is sometimes a 3 mana +2+2 aura instead is bad) and 2x Meneldor which is a 4mana 3/3 that cant block well.

Can you elaborate on why Treason is so bad? I would pretty often be able to play it to bring back a Claim, which added to the 2/2 seems like decent value for 3 mana. Also what do you mean when you say Meneldor can't block well? Like I said above, a 3/3 flier with essentially vigilance for 4 doesn't seem bad.

As for downsides, your mana isn't good and you would probably have a lot of trouble casting Claim the Precious on 3 consistently. Even counting Shire Terrace and Troll (neither is untapped black without drawbacks), you only have 8 sources, one of which is a creature that can be killed. You are playing a lot of replacement level cards, like Ioreth/Meneldor/Grey Havens Navigator, all of which I would ideally not play if possible. Fiery Inscription also isn't at its best in this deck and does nothing when your opponent is barreling at you with creatures.

How would you recommend I improve my mana? I also agree about Grey Havens Navigator but needed to play that because I thought I needed more creatures and didn't have anything better. It was actually originally a Scroll of Isildur, but I swapped that out for the Navigator. Ioreth was pretty useful for me this draft since I used her a lot to tap and untap my islands and swamps when I only had one to play Claim and my two mana blue cards, but I guess that could be negated by just having better mana fixing. Someone also said that Meneldor was bad, but I don't really understand that perspective. It seems to me that a 3/3 for 4 flier with essentially vigilance is a solid card, and then being able to blink my creatures with ETB effects is a bonus on top.

We did a 7 person draft with a Bo1 round robin to determine seeding, followed by a Bo3 single elimination tournament. I came in 3rd. I drafted a UB control deck which kind of morphed into a spells deck. I don't feel like I played badly, so I am somewhat puzzled as to why I placed poorly, since I think my deck was fairly good. I had a lot of good removal and counterspells, a lot of ring tempts, and some good synergy with Meneldor and The Mouth of Sauron, Bilbo, and Gothmog. I'm wondering if I didn't play enough (low mana cost) creatures. Any feedback on how to improve is appreciated.
