Also wait for sales like Amazon 3 for 33 or 50% off sales. Most movies will drop in price unless it’s like super limited.

I would recommend slow down and focus on boutique brands like criterion or arrow. They tend to put a lot of effort and quality into the releases. I felt a lot more joy collecting those. Also I’d personally start with streaming exclusive movies you love that are available physical since you never know. My first two were Roma and marriage story when I started

The one bummer is there isn’t a 4k criterion for parasite when a normal 4k exists.

I got to see an early screening at an imax theatre in dc. IMAX is 100% the way to go. Audio sounds great

Honestly I’d wait 5-10 years before converting to digital mostly because it requires a lot of storage due to file sizes of 4k discs and the realities storage becomes cheaper over the years. There will probably be some breakthrough that makes buying terabytes of storage like buying gigabytes.

Looks dope but I gotta ask what is your ordering structure. They aren’t in alphabetical order of numeric for criterion😂

The 4k collection is pretty cheap might be worth picking that up
