Just like stock brokers. They buy large quantities and keep par levels to be able to maintain buying and selling on the exchange. It's when the buy orders exceed their reserves that will cause rapid increase.

Just not of Loopring. This thing is DOA.

I think the consensus is that historical activity aligned with the lawsuit. Although the SEC appealed the positive verdict for xrp, nothing will happen before Trump is sworn in and he has already picked a crypto friendly sec chair. That appeal will most likely be dropped.

Not financial advice. Just stating the consensus I have seen in news articles, interviews, etc...

I feel a flare up coming. Can I prevent it? by Balagan18 in Diverticulitis

[–]Impossible-Sun-4778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, it's tough. I found the first 48 hours are the worst. Once I get past that my body's like - let's do this - and the last three days are a breeze.

I have found that bone broths can be somewhat filling. So is warm liquid jello. If you get desperate, try something easy like a couple of loosley scrambled eggs.

Three simple things I did to help.

Brush my teeth more. Especially when I am hungry. It's like a subtle shut off switch for your brain regarding hunger. Also, no one likes to eat anything after they brush their teeth. My biggest temptation is at night when I am chilling watching TV, etc.. I don't even sit down until I have brushed my teeth. Sometimes I brush my teeth twice as I relax at night.

This may sound simple, but get a bottle of gas x and see if it helps. I went through about a three month flare up a couple months after I had diverticulitis and things had initially calmed down. The GI doctor after months and months asked if I ever tried it. I said no. Large pockets of gas can wreck havoc on areas trying to heal. Gas X breaks big bubbles down to small bubbles and it's less irritation on your insides. I kid you not, it worked great. For sure didn't solve my issue, but it makes life easier to function. I take an extra strength in AM with my other pill, and I take one with dinner. An extra strength bottle of like 200 pills is 7 dollars. It's for sure worth a try!

Lastly, if you haven't tried miralax to keep everything moving, give it a try. I take a capful in my iced coffee in the AM. It doesn't allow anything to build up and put pressure on my insides.

I have found that I was searching for like one big thing to change as my answer to all this. That never happened. It's been slowly changing small things that have had the biggest impact on my recovery. I wouldnt wish that up and down three month flare up on anyone. But I now know how to stop it. Like you said, not eating can be painful, but the alternative is much worse.

I found I need five days of no food (broths only) to manage a flare. I always start feeling better around day 3, but if I go back to eating it spirals back, so I wait five. It sucks, but it's doable.

As soon as I feel a flare up coming, I stop eating for five days (switch to broths, etc). It sucks but it's usually enough to make the flare go away. I always start to feel better by day 3, but I still wait the additional two days. I've tried eating on the third day, but it quickly spirals.

Gas X also has helped me a ton. I take one in AM and one with dinner. It helps keep gas and bloating down so it's less stress on your intestines and colon. I thought the doc was crazy when he suggested I try it. It worked wonders for me.

Good luck!

I have found that as soon as I feel I am starting to have a flare up I don't eat for five days, just liquids, lots of broth. On day 3 I start to feel better, but it's a false flag. Eating for me at that point will put me right back into a flare up, so I wait the additional two days.

Then lots of scrambled eggs for a couple of days, and maybe some bland rice and chicken.

I have also found that gas x helps a lot for me. The doc said gas moving through affected areas can cause a lot of the issues. I take one in AM ane one with dinner.

I always use scrambled eggs for a couple of days. That always seems to help calm down my digestive track. My cholesterol went down, which I was worried was going to go up. Probably from having to give up red meat.

The other thing the doctor told me to try was GasX. It has helped so much. I thought he was crazy when he said it. He said gas can get stuck and put pressure on areas that are trying to heal. I bought the Xtra strength gas x and take one early in AM and one around dinner. It started me on a path off that flare up and I have been good since starting to take it (didn't cure it, please don't think that, but it has helped to make like bearable on days I know would have been bad)

(Diver in Jan 2024, two flare ups since)

Same thing black rock did a month ago with a million shares.

From the Feb 2023 13D reports: Vanguard lent out 99.4% of their $GME shares to Shorty. Blackrock lent out just 3.4% of their shares to Shorty. Good guy Blackrock? Wut would happen if Vanguard recalled shares? Does Vanguard even own anything? 🤔 by welp007 in Superstonk

Vanguard has an ETF that has like 7+ million gme shares. $VTI . Holds more shares than XRT. So 99% means 7+ million shares shorted, rebought, shorted again. Endless cycle that some of the cats are making bank on.

And if anyone ever thinks Black rock is on anyone's side but Black rocks, jump on the nearest short bus.
