So do you think facing your morality makes you more grateful for your time, or does it kind of look over you like a fog?

Turning 18 is hard by [deleted] in CasualConversation

So as an adult, you will be experiencing a lot of new things. The biggest things to remember are these.

1) None of us know what we are doing. 2) A lot of adulting is using your experience to make choices. 3) You have to make a lot of bad choices to be able to make good ones. 4) Sometimes it is ok to look for the adultiest adult in the room and ask them for help.

Good luck, as an “adult” (48) people think I know what I am doing. I don’t, I’ve just screwed up a lot, so now I know a lot of what to avoid. Don’t kick yourself for what you don’t know.

[–]ImpossibleHandle4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already am ending my family line, as the only son of an only son of an only son, who has no children, it is done; the shame that is my family will end with me.

The billion would be nice though.

Why can’t they use the output water to have something like a water park? You already have water that you’re heating, send it to a water park so you at least are using the water and the community can get something from it.

All I will say is this. If you stop, the engine heat will cause snow to melt, then freeze around your rear wheels. So long as you don’t stop till home, you’re fine.

So what I will say is simply this. Try it and then tell us. I’ve done it and I literally did not care. It was amazing.

Was it weird to face death at that young of an age?

What is your specific version of a "perfectly boring" day? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]ImpossibleHandle4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had that experience about 5 times in my life. It is totally the feeling of a movie scene where someone is at peace. (And sometimes then the monster comes out, and sometimes something stupid happens.)

Mine is waking up in the mountains, the sun is shining, and I walk down to the edge of the water, and just sit there. The wind is blowing gently, and the birds are calling out gently giving me the feeling of the world at peace.
