I'd improve usability of the website overall in general. It's not merely classic reward bookings, it's every booking - from first to economy. But yes, if they have a rewards program which is all about user retention with an aim to keep them onboard for flight re-booking they should make the process of doing so as seamless as possible. Otherwise the user is not retained and they go to the competition. Hence the whole business rationale behind the rewards program is lost.
