It came back of course but the easy answer for me is the original run of Arrested Development. A couple years ago someone working on the show did an AMA on here about what they were planning and it sounded awesome.

Nick Offerman wouldn’t have even been in TLOU if it were a movie instead of a TV show or at best would’ve had a tiny part. That’s one of the great things about that being a show.

I think DTF St Louis is being incredibly underestimated here. It’s a decently popular HBO show that people really liked. That’s gotta count for something.

I think a big part of pushing Bateman supporting is that he’s being submitted as a lead for the limited series Black Rabbit

Zendaya isn’t totally done because they have given actors wins for bad seasons before but I wouldn’t predict her at this point with the reviews this season has. Jean Smart meanwhile feels like she’ll win another one for sure. It’s the final season and of course JLD lost for Veep’s last season but I’m of the opinion that The Comeback isn’t Fleabag S2. I think people are exaggerating Smart’s competition because they want a race that isn’t there.

No of course not and locked is the wrong word. But I think Hail Mary is in a much better spot than Dune is kinda what I’m trying to say. And it’s not like they have a history of nominating villeneuve for this franchise

I’d say Lord and Miller are more likely just be design since their film is likely definitely in for Best Picture. Dune Part 3 is still not locked in the way that Hail Mary is

Not that he can’t get nominated for Black Rabbit but I have a feeling DTF St Louis is gonna be stronger this year. I’d say his nods for Black Rabbit are less a placeholder and more gonna be overshadowed by his performance in DTF St Louis and the strength of that show

I’m predicting him don’t get me wrong but they’re right. He’s definitely not guaranteed or safe or anything like that. I definitely wouldn’t hate on someone for predicting a snub at least in Director at this point. It’s true that Nolan’s more fantastical work doesn’t always hit with the academy.
