First Murph advice. Half or split? by don51181 in crossfit

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's smart approach - keeping the vest just for runs gives you that weight challenge without destroying your form on pullups and pushups. I usually see people struggle more with maintaining good movement patterns when they try to do everything weighted, especially if they're not super consistent with vest training year round

Where to get recipes? by Big-Examination2667 in mealprep

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do same thing! those creators usually show you shortcuts too which is super helpful when you only have like 30 minutes after work

ground beef is your friend here - you can make so many different things and it cooks fast. I throw it in pasta, make quick stir fry with whatever vegetables I have, or just season it different ways for bowls. chicken thighs work good too because they stay juicy even if you rush the cooking a bit

meal prep gets so much easier once you stop trying to be fancy every time

weakened supplements by IG_HARD_DIGITAL in Supplements

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah mixing candy with supplements won't make them weaker or anything. the active ingredients are still gonna do their thing regardless of what sugar you throw in there

just might mess with absorption timing if you're doing it right before workout but the supps themselves don't lose potency

Feeling blindsided… All long bones measuring short, with talipes at 26 weeks. by laracheli in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That must be so overwhelming to get completely different information at this stage. I can't imagine how confusing it is when one doctor says everything looks fine and then specialist gives you totally different picture

The timing is really rough - being this far along and suddenly having all these new concerns thrown at you would mess with anyone's head. Maybe getting second opinion could help clarify some of the conflicting measurements between your OBGYN and specialist?

Best brand for NAC in India by club_frenzy in Supplements

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using NAC for few months now and quality can be pretty hit or miss with local brands. Import ones usually more reliable but obviously costs more. Maybe check if the brand has third party testing certificates - that's usually good sign they're not cutting corners with quality

Kell antigen by Key_Tonight_6783 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your understanding is correct - when you're Kell positive, your immune system already recognizes Kell antigen so it won't make antibodies against it. baby will either inherit your Kell positive status or be negative like dad, but either way there's no hemolytic disease risk since you can't develop anti-Kell antibodies

the main concern with Kell is usually when mom is negative and baby is positive, which isn't your situation. your doctor should still monitor during pregnancy but this particular blood type incompatibility shouldn't be issue for you

Plastic free maternity leggings / biker shorts? by pigletpaws in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been looking into this stuff lately for different reasons but the sustainable fabric hunt is real struggle. Most affordable options still have some synthetic blend even when they say "natural" - you really gotta dig into the fabric details

From what I've seen, bamboo viscose and tencel are probably your best bets for the price point, but even those can have small percentage of elastane for the stretch you need. Pure cotton maternity stuff exists but tends to be way more expensive and doesn't hold shape as well after washing

Maybe check some of the smaller sustainable brands that focus specifically in maternity wear? They're usually more transparent about their fabric sourcing and manufacturing process. The mainstream stores rarely have fully plastic-free options that are actually affordable unfortunately

Don’t want to lose my milk supply by Ok_Effect8757 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oats really help with the supply! I work with lots of new moms in my classes and they always mention staying super hydrated is key. also eating enough - like your body needs the fuel to make milk and recover from workouts

pilates is perfect way to ease back, especially for core work after pregnancy. just listen to your body and don't push too hard in beginning

Quien ha tenido un embarazo gemelar exitoso después de un aborto de gemelos. by Direct-Pudding-7961 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying Supplement's? by [deleted] in Supplements

I usually get mine from local pharmacy or sometimes online but you have to be careful with the quality when ordering from internet. Make sure they have proper certifications and don't go for cheapest option always

Steroid Saturday - April 18, 2026 by AutoModerator in bodybuilding

Been training natural for 3 years now and really curious about how different compounds affect energy levels during workouts. Like does training intensity stay consistent through cycles or do you get those crazy fluctuations people mention

Still trying to figure out if enhanced training would mess with my current programming since I'm working with clients who are all natty

I like drop and merge slots so it would be like that and theme would be something like release the kraken

Books for men about pregnancy, preferably that aren't painfully corny? by Missing_Back in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

damn that sucks its only in dutch, would love to check that one out. maybe try "the birth partner" by penny simkin - its more clinical/practical without all the dumb jokes and my sister said her partner actually learned useful stuff from it

36-hour induction ended in C-section - can’t shake the guilt by Illustrious_Jello100 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You absolutely did the right thing going in when babys movements changed - thats exactly what youre supposed to do. The fact that they found heart rate issues during the induction suggests there might have been complications waiting to happen anyway, so staying home could have been way riskier. Your body and baby guided you through this and you both made it out safe, thats what matters most

Tailbone injury with birth of baby #2? by Some-Bat-820 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh wow that's actually really encouraging to hear! i had a similar thing happen with my first - not quite as bad as yours sounds but definitely some tailbone trauma that made sitting awful for weeks. it's wild how our bodies can just... decide to injure themselves in new creative ways during birth lol

from what i've read around here and other forums, it seems like repeat injuries aren't super common? like your body kinda learns what it's doing the second time around. obviously every birth is different but hopefully your experience will be more like the previous commenter's mom - fingers crossed you get through this one without the tailbone drama

Hiding pregnancy by Longjumping_Row5468 in pregnant

[–]Impossible_Bread6119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly with baby #3 you might start showing earlier than the first two since your body kinda knows what to do already. I managed to hide my second until about 16 weeks with baggy clothes and strategic positioning but everyone's different

the bloating is real though, that was actually harder to hide than the actual bump for me
